if you still need help, talk to the old man and then go back to the first area and talk to the sign
great game! wish there was more quests and/or areas, but overall pretty good
edit: i thought that the wife thing would be a fun side quest but it was not. also, it might be cool if you could go back the way you came after reaching the end
"story had a pointless ending" thats the whole idea
