Been meaning to do this sooner, but work has kept me busy =/
Hey all, my name is Adam. I'm a university student in my 3rd year doing games design. VFX kind of accidentally fell in to my lap - my degree doesn't really teach it, unfortunately. It wasn't until I got to the end of my second year and we did some stuff with complex materials and particle effects that I found my interest in game design - everything before that had just not resonated with me. So, fast forward to now, and I've had to teach myself over the summer to do VFX, but it has been very rewarding, and I feel happier doing this, than I ever did just creating 3d assets or blueprinting.
