Hey BM,

The easiest way to get feedback is to probably jump on the discord channel. We have a lot of people on there and they are all pretty supportive.

The other way is to go into your specific game's dashboard. Once there, you'll see several tabs, one of which will be "Interact." There are a few options under this tab, which includes sending emails and viewing reviews.

While this can be a method to request feedback, there is no guarantee that you will actually get that feedback (just something to keep in mind). Hope this helps.

Happy Holidays everyone!

I wanted to let you know that The Hero's Die (THD) is currently part of the Winter Sale 2020. You can check it out here: https://radiatedskull.itch.io/the-heros-die

The Hero's Die is a TTRPG (or DTRPG) designed to be strong in narrative, while supplying unique mechanics to keep the game interesting. The game can be run as a full campaign (pre-made modules are coming, btw), or it can be played on the fly (this no-prep version is called HD Lite).

You will likely notice that the game is in Beta. Two reasons for this. 1, It needs more playtesting (which is where you come in). 2, It needs more professional artwork (I am not an artist). Once I have garnered more feedback on the playtests and found some reliable artists, I will republish the game as the full version. --Yes, if you bought a copy of the Beta, then I will make sure you get upgraded to the full version.

If you're on the fence, then just follow me and you will soon begin to see more things released related to the game. Hopefully the extra stories modules, and paraphernalia will help you make the jump into THD. If you're interested, you can also check out my main page: radiatedskull.com

Thank you for taking the time to read all this. I hope you will give this game a chance and find the adventure you've been searching for. If you need people to play the game with, contact me. I am always looking for new players. Thank you, again! And now, per the rules, here are some mandatory embedded images...

In the discord. Thanks, Shell!

10 Candles is a lot of fun--though I've only been able to play it in an online setting. I think the ambience would work better IRL (vs. virtual).

Also something key is that everyone has to buy in to the horror theme. The crew I typically play with, we're always goofing off. So the game ended up being more of a comedy-horror. Still fun, but something to keep in mind if you get around to playing--gotta be flexible.

Ian,

Thank you for making this jam! There are so many programmer jams, I didn't realize we could have a TTRPG jam.

TTRPG's are a quiet passion of mine--I love the interaction, player freedom, and stories that develop from the game play. As a member of this jam, will there be an opportunity of to play the games from this jam? I am still new to Itch.io, and am not too familiar with the jams. I can see how people will play the programmed games. However, it helps to have a group and virtual meeting place for TTRPG's. Just curious if we will be able to divide into groups at the end of the jam and play each other's creations.

It is too easy to get lost in a multitude of pages when creating a TTRPG. I like the idea of restraining the game to 1 page. Even though I know you mentioned multipage submissions are okay, I want to see if I can keep my submission to one page. It will definitely be something narrative heavy, like 10 Candles or DIE. Looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with. Thank again for putting together this jam!

Thank you for answering, Sheep! I'll keep an eye out for other jams that are more inline with what I got.

Please send a post-jam comment or two and let us know how this all turned out. It'd be great to see what people got from their secret santas.

First, this is a great idea--love this jam!

Second, I am not a programmer. I am on Itch because I have designed a new TTRPG system (it's a downloadable PDF). Thing is, I could totally design and run an adventure/game session based around this jam, using the system I designed. Would I be able to join this jam with the intent of running a game with whoever I am teamed up with?

I could also convert this adventure/game session into a novel. The novelized adventure could then be shared with everyone on Itch (or at least everyone who may be interested). Please let me know if you guys are cool with this, or if I am overreaching on the jam here. I will wait for your feedback before signing up. Thanks!
