its insane how this segment actually piqued my interest in the bullet hell genre lmao. it made me start playing tohou 6 sooo. but at the same time i totally understand why so many people dislike it. the penalty of resetting to stage 1 is pretty harsh, especially if you keep failing stage 3. not everyone likes or is experienced in bullet hell games, so they have to learn from scratch, and then it takes a long time to finish it at all. what helped me personally was just constantly shooting at evas crows, but even then it took me an hour or so to finish. it actually really frustrated me in the moment but i was too stubborn to quit, and i eventually managed.
so yes, while i actually enjoyed the challenge, its definetly a bit much for the trial ending (especially if you mess up the part of putting the answer together lol). anyways, please keep the bullet hell feature, but adjust the difficulty pls.
(while im at it, i would like to suggest the chance to save before argument altercation starts. both because the trial is lenghty and you might be too frustrated to keep playing, but also because thats a specific part of the trial that i would like to just. replay without having to do the entire trial from scratch. just an idea, hehe)
