Man I can't believe I finished everything available already and I only discovered it less than 12 hours ago, it's so fuckin good

Download link is broken

Glad to see this kind of transparency, if you ever need like proofreading help or anything feel free to dm me on twitter, same name as here. Keep up the awesome work.

I really wish there was more, I'm excited to see if it gets expanded on

Ah okay 🤷

no no no, in the first town when you go into the tavern, the guy in there

I lost 1300 gold to him and I'm not terrible at Blackjack, but it's literally 21 everytime from him

If you can't find it in data try looking in obb

So why does the rich guy ALWAYS get 21 in Blackjack? Is that scripted or just a wonky algorithm?

The description literally says that this was the prototype more or less for Inscryption

No worries at all, it's a really well made project for a first game.

I gotta say, this was really good, but after 4 bad endings in a row, granted I didn't get the office one, I gave up. I watched the reply below that found both, and I'd say in the future definitely try to at least hint at how to get the secret object/objective, it wasn't obvious to run (well, walk) around clicking things and fumbling in the dark to find the secret notes.

Leftovers was amazing. I actually commissioned my avatar from the artist @Skekarin

Ugh I love unsettling atmospheric horror done right. This was amazing from visuals to sound design.

I honestly don't even know why I asked when I saw the crash handler lol

Once there's a version I can see things in, I definitely will.

Gotcha, I'll definitely be following along. I'll be patiently waiting for an update. What engine are you using?

Since it's a proof of concept, I'll edit my feedback as needed.

Pros:

Movement is extremely fluid and it feels nice for a game where eventually you're gonna be running away from something.

Found the table in the room, the graphics are nice on those.

Cons:

The controls aren't entirely accurate since they omit using ctrl to crouch.

Yes, I know horror games shouldn't be bright, buuuut, the flash light could be just a smidge brighter, or at least add in settings and let the players decide whether they want it dark or not.

And it needs music. Even just ambience, it needs some sort of noise, even if you just add in the sound of footsteps.

So Far:

It's nice that a proof of concept executed so fluidly, I'll be sticking around to see how progress unfolds.

No worries, it's not at all bad. It's fantastically executed for what it is.

Soooo, almost 5 months later, I finally gave it a shot. First time around, I looked at the moon before even finding the first radio...stared way too long before realizing nothing was happening.

After the broadcast, just for gits and shiggles, I immediately went out and looked at the moon.

As for the actual objective, it's not inherently clear that you're supposed to turn the radios off, and at times the compass doesn't leave one you've already turned off.

However, altogether, for as short as the experience was it was amazingly atmospheric.

I'm not sure if I messed something up, but once I got to the cell door and the flashlight blacked out, nothing happened in the game, atmosphere and sound design are really nice though.

Okay, I'm not usually one for psychological stuff but holy hell did this one throw me for a loop. I don't know if it's canon or not, but I chose to rename Tess to Cecily cause it just fit. I can't believe I waited so long to play the other top games from this Jam besides Leftovers.

I can't wait to see more from you, please keep making games.

Honestly never gathered that I was supposed to use the cross on the closet, I used it on the mirror.

Yeah, I'd love to have a list of the triggers so I can see what I found and what I didn't.

Okay, so the first time I kind of just did whatever, but the second time I gave it my all but the demons just kept wrecking the apartment. Both times I got the good ending, is there a specific order to clean everything? Or is there just one way for now?

I may just start all over anyway, which sucks but I'd rather finally be able to track the affection and stuff

That sucks, I'm sure I'm at the max for each character, I'd hate to start all over. I might just grit through it.

So I have a question. Currently I'm on 0.7.5 but my save is from much older versions, after the rework for the events and the little notebook I don't have any record of my progress with the ladies except for Luna who I just recently met. I should have had progress with every main lady and a few of the side ones but my book only has Luna and a silhouette.

For what it is, it's really good. My only issue is the precision, the interaction and interface are clunky and could use some tightening on the dead zones.

Awesome

She molested him

Awesome, I'm excited

Thanks so much for the response <3

This game was amazing. Design, music, atmosphere, aesthetic, everything culminated so beautifully.

One question, is the Snow dream the only secret level? I drove my self nuts in Dream+ slamming my face against walls for secrets...

Aww, are you going to release a windows version? I wanted to download all the 1st in category games to try out after absolutely LOVING Leftovers

I wouldn't necessarily say they were bad, clunky and slightly unresponsive without tweaking the camera and DPI? Yes, but not bad bad.

Also, don't forget it was for a Game Jam, which usually run 24-72 hours, and putting out a game THIS good for a Jam is nothing to sneeze at.

I gotta say...

It takes 20 minutes to finish Poppy Playtime

It takes 20 minutes to finish Leftovers

THIS GAME WAS SO MUCH MORE FULFILLING!!!

I used to hate the 3 Scary Games videos cause I'm always like "Welp, Mark played it and I watched, might as well never play it" (Love/Hate btw)

I stopped his video to do my playthrough and appreciate everything BEFORE watching him be a dork.

Everything from the art direction to the ambiguity is amazing, and this is just a JAM GAME!

I love finding games like this, and I'm glad I did.

I was wondering, did you guys compose the soundtrack or is it free to use sounds?
