Salutations I am a game designer and director who is currently working on a 3D adventure style game trying to put together a demo.
We have a few team members on board but we need someone that can help create some assets for characters both NPCs and enemies.
I already have concept art for references on what the characters may look like, but if you can get it close to it that's alright.
At the moment we need a giant hornet enemy
We are trying to go with a cartoon fantasy style something similar to Kingdom Hearts or the Spyro games.
The project is slow paced so you don't stress yourself, but the goal is trying to get a demo released before Fall or sometime late summer. If you're looking to get paid then we are planning on splitting any profit made. However if you're looking just for the experience to build on your portfolio you are welcome to join as well!
If you'd like to learn more you can contact me on discord at professor maple
I also have a GDD that will help provide more information on what to expect for this project.
Salutations, our team is currently working on a project for a 3D adventure style game as we are trying to get a demo setup.
We're looking for someone to help make character assets and animation.
The style we're going for is a cartoon style similar to the Kingdom Heart or Spyro games.
At the moment it is unpaid however, if we get this demo setup, we will discuss plans for a kickstarter to make sure those that want to get paid get their funds and also share any funds from the finish product.
If you'd like to know more feel free message my discord @ professormaple or ask questions here.
Salutations, our team is working on a hobby project that is a 3D adventure game inspired by the 3D mario games with some added combat and a mature setting for the story and lore.
We are trying to get a demo put together to build an audience and we need a 3D artist to help make some assets for enemies and monsters.
Most of the enemies and monsters are based on animals and creatures so we need someone who specializes in this category.
If you're curious we do have a GDD available and a discord for the team.
You can message me on discord professormaple
Good day or evening, I am currently working on a hobby project for a 3D adventure platformer style game that takes inspiration of the 3D Mario games with a twist of combat and a dark setting with the style being in a fantasy cartoon almost like Kingdom Hearts or Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time.
This game will feature a variety of tasks for the player to complete, along with some collectibles, powerups, mini stories and wide range of characters from humans, feral animals and anthropomorphic.
We are in the process of trying to get a demo setup to help bring in some interest for this project.
So far we already have the asset for the main character and weapons. All we need left for the demo is two enemy types.
Some positions that we need help with are
*3D modeler
*Level Builder and Designer
*Coder
*Illustrator
It is unpaid work at the moment as I don't make enough to pay a bunch of people, but we will split any possible profit that is made in the end. As I'm not really in it for the money I just want to create a few fun games that I had ideas for, I just need some help.
If you have any questions feel free to ask.
I do have a discord the name being professormaple
Salutations, I am working on a 3D adventure platformer style game and have been trying to brainstorm some ideas for cutscenes.
I wanted to ask what do you think about games that have different styles of cutscenes for different scenarios. Like there will be the usual in game cutscenes but like more of the important or backstory lore kind of cutscenes being in a 2D cartoon style or like a still image in a comic style with voice acting.
Just want to know which is the best method to approach.
Good day, I am currently working on a 3D adventure platformer that's in a demo building stage and wanted to know if there is any type of list for terms I can look into to help be specific when describing certain areas or mechanics when looking for help?
For example when it comes to some games having a separate location in the same level what is that called?
I would figure it's called a sub-area but I don't think that's right but would like to study up for better understanding.
Hello there, I have been in the process of trying to get a game project off the ground.
The current focus is trying to get a demo setup however haven't had much progress and lack of communication with others since they're either busy (which I understand) or just never around anymore which I assume lost interest.
I have been thinking of trying to get a kickstarter made to help motivate the team and maybe find some additional help.
Is this a wise choice or what are some other options?
Good day, I'm currently in the process of trying to get a demo put together for a 3D adventure platformer type game and have been thinking of doing some voices for character dialogue.
I was wondering has anyone ever used their phone to record a script if they were in a quiet room with no loud ambience noise or is there any standard recording mics I can look into as I don't have a fancy setup, but would like to try getting some work done until I find some help.
Good Day or Evening!
I am a director in the progress of getting together a demo for a game project.
The game is a 3D adventure platformer that takes inspiration from Super Mario Sunshine while also having a combat style of Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time and a little dark tone. The type of style we're going for is cartoon heme similar to a Kingdom Hearts style.
We are looking for some assistance in 3D modelers as we need a few assets for our coders to work with.
I have all the concept art and details prepared for what type of characters there are. The game features a variety of characters from humans, animals (feral and anthro), and monsters mythical and inspirational.
In the demo we need at least
-The player's character
-Two different enemies (a zombie cow and a giant hornet)
If this interests feel free to contact me, if not then good luck on your search.
Some mechanics we need coded are
-moving platforms (horizontal and vertical movement)
-The player interacting with collectibles
-The player being able to use weapons and attacks
-Barricades unlocking when the player completes a certain task
-Some enemy behavior
There are some others but these are the main ones at the moment for the demo.

Our team has most of the assets but now we just need some help in the coding department to get a few mechanics to work and also offer Co-OP assistance to our coder as he is having a little tricky trouble.
We're looking for someone who knows how to code moving platforms in a 3D environment and also help in the 3D setting.
If this interests you feel free to message me otherwise good luck on your searches as well.
