never mind, I got it fixed, I think

the game won't even start anymore

my game just keeps crashing. This wasn't an issue when I first started playing. It wasn't an issue when I played the tutorial and it wasn't an issue until I got up to day 2 of story mode. The game ran at a smooth 60 fps too. When day 2 hit, I wandered around, came across tr2, and picked up a piece of wood, when the game crashed. and then I tried playing again and it crashed again. 3rd times the charm to the same effect. So I deleted my save and made a new one to see if that would fix the issue. It didn't and this continued to happen. I tried again with the new save and the same effect. So I restart my computer, the ol' turn it off and on again trick. Didn't work. Fine, okay, this is a great game, I'm not gonna give up on it so easily. I decide to delete the entire game, just remove all trace of it from my computer and reinstall it.

it loads, gives me wildly inconsistent frames, then crashes the game and my computer.

The one common occurrence across all these is the props and items. As soon as I touch or move or look at anything now, the game freaks out and does this. I don't know if this also bears mentioning, but at tr2 where I originally encountered this bug, when I passed by the meat pile behind it and picked up the wood piece off the ground, the wood piece made a weird squish sound and at the exact same time that happened, boom, game crash. I know that it wasn't me stepping on the meat because the wood piece was between me and the meat and neither me nor the wood piece were near it.

I do not know what to do or how to fix this. please help, this game is fucking fantastic and I really want to play it. If anyone has any ideas, please tell me.
