Hi. Amazingly theres a wiki page for this:

https://rainsdowne-players.fandom.com/wiki/Frogs_(Collectibles)

Which is good because I certainly don't remember all of them at this point!

I did remember, however, that you have to badly play the piano as the Orange haired character to scare the frog out of hiding.

I'm glad this old game still holds up!

Also, isnt this technically a world record 100% speed run? (As nobody else has streamed it as far as I'm aware)

Ah, I missed this, sorry! Yes, her superpower is technically 'luck', and there is a way to improve her luck a little later in the game.

Hmm. Do you have the first game on that same computer? If so, does that still work?

I wonder if it's worth unzipping the files to a different location, or right clicking the game and 'running as admin', and seeing if that makes a difference?

Hey. Thanks for reporting. Is there any sort of error message? First time hearing of such an issue.

Are you on windows 11? I haven't tested it there myself.

I you haven't been to the sewers yet, then yes you need to kick off the big event plan stuff to be able to get those cards.

Be reasured that's not the absolute end of the game, and you do get a chance to tidy up any missed cards before chosing to fully end the game.

It's a legacy thing, there was originally a shorter prologue version available (Act 1), and the full game was going o be Act 2, but the game changed so much over time that I retired part 1 and remade all it's content within a single full game.

Hey! Assuming you're on Windows.. its:

C:\Users\[YOURNAME]\AppData\Local\Rainsdowne_Act_2\save.ini

Very strange. Game hasn't been updated in almost 2 years, so I guess its unlikely you have an older version!

If you wanted, you could send me your save file, and I can check if its a data issue.

Are you able to move? You should be able to walk around and talk to the other two girls when the scene starts.

if not please let me know and I'll look into it.

thanks for playing! It was a learning experience in terms of controls, and I'm hopeful things are a lot smoother in the second game.

Temp agency is mostly alternate skins for Kickstarter backers, but there's also a friendly NPC hanging out there too.

I'm sorry about that. Bad assumption on my part in expecting just the huge number to convey the joke, when the players have less visibility on the underlying systems and (rightly) assume the game offers what is says.

Its probably time to tweak this.

Hey folks, be sure to update to the latest version if you're playing with reduced flashing effects turned on, as it was causing a crash during the late-game!

Ah! Well spotted. Looks like the cutscene is getting stuck on that point if you have 'reduce shaking / flashing effects' turned on.

I'll get a fix done asap!

It should progress as intended if you turn on the flashing effects, but this is of course only if you are able. Beyond this point the most you'll encounter is a few single brief white flashes when the bad guys appear, and a small size flickering effect on the ghost that appears.

Heya, missed the edit. Did you get past the toaster dungeon in the end? It's only 10 floors deep, and you can use the helper donuts fromt eh shop if you're struggling.

Apologies for that. This has been fixed in the most recent update, so you'll have to re-download the game. Your save data will still work.

Ah, in that case you just need to get past floor 10. If you're struggling at any point, purchasing the green tea donut from the shop will turn down the enemy strength in the dungeon.

Are you on the second dungeon? If you're struggling, there are additional abilities you can unlock by clearing the Mansion levels and the Arena minigame.

Apologies for any lack of clarity. I have some plans to add a bit more guidance into the game.

Hey! Thanks for playing! Hopefully the adaptive difficulty isn't too broken... That's what the donut shop is for I guess...

Hey, it will kick you out after floor 100 until you've rescued all 5 prisoners (which are random). Looks like you got through quicker than I expected, so I might change things up in an update to be clearer.

Probably just need to start from floor 71 one last time and you should progress.

Hey, thanks for playing!

Toggling characters is c/v on keyboard, or the l/r shoulder buttons on controller.

If you're struggling with the dungeon traversal, you can lower the dynamic difficulty by buying green tea donuts in the shop.

Thanks~ I'll be working on a Switch port next, just pacing myself this time around as I haven't had as much free time to do it all at once.

Hi. I'd like to get it sorted eventually, but don't really have the time or means right now. Sorry...

Heya. Try using the other toy machine on the beach, as it has a slightly different lineup.

Hey, thanks for playing.

Yeah... The battle commands are a bit inflexible. I hope to clean it up for the next game!

If I remember correctly, Race has to be the Purpose (3rd), and the Outcome (5th) has to be whoever won the race... I think. It's been a while. Let me know if I'm wrong!

Thank you so much for playing! It means a lot.

Agh... I really should have put a disclaimer in there that the dental plan is impossible to get... Either way I'm glad you've enjoyed the game!

Thanks! Let me know if I can provide clues.

Just in case it's the issue, you don't have to defeat all the enemies in the final battles, just the leaders (spoiler!)

They do get a bit tough! Swapping character order with the shoulder buttons is important, and for at least one of them you need to have unlocked a certain number of ghost allies for the protagonist.

I might make some video walkthroughs one of these days... There's also no shame in switching to Easy mode for a puzzle or two if needed!

Hey. I'll happily put Hero Hours Contract forward for this.

Thank you so much. It means a lot!

Very belated thanks for the review. It means a lot!

I think I remember some of these:

I think sleep is in the marketplace at a certain time of night, Orange only.

Lick is for finding all the frogs (I'm sorry)

Dolls is in Marji's house after work hours with Blue... Maybe?

I'll check the source code to try and remember the others!

That's odd.. I have the game's code open right now and that should be the solution!

Is there a chance you already unlocked her card and you just need to speak with her?

Heya, Location = Island, Purpose = Party, then either Encounter or Outcome needs to be Present.
