Happened to me too, battery bar is not ticking down. I scavenged two times in a row and on the second time it ran out (wanted to see what would happen).

You could add a way to generate some slow passive income or something, at least the player would be able to wait it out if they mess up
Or let us click for a low amount of money for the starting cash instead of starting with some, like mowing grass/cleaning pavement or something, then quickly becoming obsolete when you start your production

The auto-restock feels a bit clunky, being wasted about half
It would be really cool if it interacted with Visible Desires, meaning it'll auto-restock everything you can see above cats in the order they arrive. Possibly customizable up to how many you have unlocked so you don't restock too much and run out of hearts.
Either that or make it fill up and wait for the next order, half my auto-restocks are wasted because the next cat is still moving into position.
I really like the concept but the balancing is quite bad, too slow, progressing floors doesn't reward you much except for a carrot, which isnt that big of an upgrade after you spend it. It's actually worse since your chances of succeeding go lower, and it takes even longer to make it better than on the previous floor
