Thanks for the feedback! The reason it sometimes looks like you can skip the hearts is that the heart itself is a map tile. Rather than trying to remove a tile from a preassigned coordinate, I used the player’s nearest tile. The respawning is generally just very buggy, and I didn’t have much time to fix it.

This game looks amazing, I especially like how everything in the game (enemies, terrain, etc) is grouped into a pallet to make everything stand out. The gameplay is simple, but still challenging. Overall, a great game.

This game is nice, but could be a lot better if you just changed a few things.

What I would recommend changing (or tips for future games): -Don’t stretch textures, it makes them harder to read. -Use a consistent art style, it makes it look a lot better. -Tone down the number of instruments. Right now it just kind of sounds like a mix of 50 different random instruments.

I do not want to just hate on this game, it has a lot of potential and a great concept, but those factors bring it down a bit. Overall, good game with some things that weigh it down.

I had a lot of problems with getting soft locked in random blocks, I tried to come up with a fix but didn’t have enough time. I like your control scheme, makes a lot more sense, I forgot to actually think about the controls that much.
