Is there a chance we can get an option to turn off the animations? The fact that they have gameplay influence means that there is almost always a reason to actually get down with an NPC, but the unskippable animations mean that time is wasted while they play, turning them from a reward to a new tedium.

New bug report: Bird Princess gives her dowry upon speaking to her in camp... every time you speak to her. While this is exceedingly profitable (to the tune of 1750 every time you speak to her, far and away the fastest method of making cash I've found yet), it is probably not intentional, and may be slightly unbalanced.
New bug: Finhead reign held out against siege despite Finhead Princess having already eloped. Upon entering to investigate further, Finhead Princess, despite already being in my party, was able to be rescued from the invasion and awarded the rescue medal.
Update: The Finhead reign is now randomly and repeatedly announcing that the reign has been captured, followed instantly by an announcement that it has fallen.
New bug: attempting to enter the Diamond Seashell caused the error included in the picture. Associated circumstances: second visit, wearing Fish Lungs, reign at war with Mermaid Princess, Merchant Princess present in city, time of 23:00 hours. Note: I have already installed the existing patch. EDIT: waiting until morning allows entry without crash, meaning it seems to be associated either with night time or the autosave function.
Found a couple major bugs. First, certain Human bodies fail to match up with outfits (pictures available but not included out of precaution; deleted prior message out of same precaution). Second, and much more lethally, the game will randomly no longer respond to any user input besides opening the menu. You become unable to walk, attack, or react in any way besides opening the menu. This state persists through any saves made while in this state. No error message is generated in this state.
Serious question: what manages Skeleton Princess's sleep cycle? Like, is it a once a month thing, or only on specific days of a given month/season, or is it just a random number generator with a 1/1024 chance of her being asleep for a given hour? Because I've seen her asleep exactly once, and I've wasted literal hours entering her town, exiting town, and reloading the game after something like a reign collapses or whatever.
That's a bit awkward to do, just because it gives slightly different messages almost every time. As example, I just tried transforming one of my progeny into a golem (because Golem Princess gives birth to ghosts for some reason), and it went to black with a popup reading, "Unable to find file: graphics/pictures/gollegarmj". Different attempt with a different progeny spat back out, "Unable to find file: graphics/pictures/gollegsilbl". Yet another attempt, after a successful transformation and then taking back the core, it gave the error "Unable to find file: graphics/pictures/golbodmec".
Other times while interacting with golems in town I'd get messages of the exact same type, just with different files that all start with gol. The only golem not to display these issues is the princess.
