We can do that! And hey, it's okay too! Although here's also a tip - JetBrains provide free student licenses to anyone with a valid student email address, and if you are into programming, or would like to get a taste of what the industry project management softwares look like and how they perform, you should definitely look them up! And keep making games for fun!

hi Okau! I'm an organiser from Pump Up The Jam over on itch! You've won a 1 year personal License to a JetBrains product of your choice! How can we contact you privately to arrange for the delivery of your prize?

Hi RH Dynamics! I'm an organiser from Pump Up The Jam over on itch! You've won a 1 year personal License to a JetBrains product of your choice! Is there a way for us to contact you directly to sort out the logistics for your prize?

Yes!

Question : What if I've never joined a Game Jam before?

You can still join this jam! If you have any projects you've previously worked on , or even are going to start a project from scratch for this jam, you are still welcomed to join!

Question : I need more teammates. Where can I find them?

Post an ad in the "Looking for Team Mates" thread! Or you can try to recruit team members from the IGDA Sweden discord server as well!

Looking for a team mate? Post your ad in this thread!

To Submit your game to the jam, click on the Submit Your Project button at the top of the jam page before the end of the jam period.

Make sure to read the submission rules and adhere to them.

If you are submitting an existing game that is hosted on Itch, select the game you wish to submit from the dropdown menu. Otherwise, provide a link the the previous version of the game (if applicable) and select "Upload Game" under the "Create New Project" header. Once you have created the new game page, return to the jam page and select the game for submission!

That's it! Remember, you can update the game all the way until the last second of the jam submission deadline! Happy Jamming!

General Information

This is an ONLINE game jam, and is open to all participants regardless of country of residence.

Participants may join the jam as a solo developer, or in teams. There is no limit to the team size, however, we recommend keeping the team to a maximum of FOUR (4) members to ensure communications are smooth.

There are no limits to the number of submissions each individual or team can submit. However, we strongly recommend that you focus on ONE (1) game during the duration of the jam. For the purpose of the draw for prizes, individuals and teams with multiple submissions will still count as ONE (1) entry towards the draw.

Incomplete submissions are acceptable. However, do note that the submissions will be locked after the submission period ends on 10th March CET (Stockholm Time, GMT +2) 9PM and will remain locked until the end of the voting period. You may update your builds and submissions as many times as you like during the period of the jam.

You may use any engine you wish to make your game, for any platform of your choosing. However, in the interest of making your submission accessible to as many players as possible, we recommend building for Windows, Mac, Android and/or WebGL (played in Desktop Browser on Itch.io ). Note that submissions must be uploaded to Itch.io , and WebGL submissions should be playable on Itch.io itself and not link to an external site.

For the duration of the jam and the voting period, your game should be free in order for judges and the public to be able to easily access the game and vote on it.

RULES

Please ensure that your submission adheres to the following standards :

1. Keep your submissions Safe for Work - This means no nudity, overt sexuality, pornography, or excessive violence and gore.

2. Keep your submissions Friendly - Do not include offensive or discriminatory content in your submissions. We want as many people to play your games as possible!

3. Submissions Must be Uploaded to Itch.Io - Submitting a link to an external site will disqualify your entry.

4. Credit where Credit is Due - If you are using pre-made assets in your game, be it free or licensed, do include the information (and links where applicable) regarding the assets and their creators.

5. Clones of Existing Games and Game Mods are not allowed. Any such submissions will immediately be disqualified.

Lastly, but not least, please adhere to Itch.io's Community Guidelines and Terms of Service
