Thank you for the feedback and suggestion! I’ve already tried mixing shooting and lighthouse charge into one energy bar, but it became a bit hard to balance for me so I have to scrap the idea. As for the power ups and options to manipulate with the carge bar, I’m thinking about it, but can’t put them in the current version due to the time constrain. Thanks! I do have some ideas that don't make it into the game due to time constrain. For the issue you encountered, I might have set the invisible wall collision box too big.

I’m using clickteam fusion for the game and this is a known issue for the engine, not sure how to fix it. Sorry for the trouble.
