I might have gone a little overboard with the platforming section as you said, and I really do appreciate the constructive criticism so I'll definitely make adjustments in the future.  Also if you want to find the room, once you're in the platforming section head to the left most path and then look for a collectible, jump off to collect it and find the secret room.
