Got all endings! Really fun! I like how you shift to control the found footage. I do wish there was more you could do in the tunnels. Even if you made the map more intricate. Still, if it was going for nice and short, it looked and sounded good. Built tension with the eerie "bird" sounds. More thoughts at the end.
You dm'd me and I came thruuuu.
This may actually be my favorite Far Few Giants game! I loved the sacrifices series but this is just something else altogether. It's got a very strong, philosophical foundation, the imagined leviathan. And I really get the sense that the art style and sound and gameplay flow from that. Going monochrome was a bold choice but it fits the game well. It contrasts the remnants of humanity against the winter storms. Gives me the sense of loneliness and that I'm physically experience the passages narrated. There are some bugs however! When I click a life to listen to sometimes it doesn't play right away or it freezes the screen. More thoughts/ comments/ philo ramblings throughout the video and review at the end!
The AI is AMAZING!! She didn't just rush at me. She stalked and laughed and peeked. It was so good. There is a typo in the instructions. Saying "becarful" instead of "be careful". Also I didn't know if what I encountered was a bug? (numbers didn't appear).
Did a 200IQ play to get past that lmao. More thoughts and laughs and fails in the video!
I loved Cleaning Service (gameplay in youtube) but I loved this even more!! It had interesting lore, terrifying creature design. The gameplay was similar to Cleaning Service but the sound design and the pacing of the scares made it a lot more thrilling. I only had a problem with the lighting I guess? I could be a biiiit brighter since you find the flashlight about halfway through the game. More thoughts at the end of the video.
SHE WAITS IN THE DARK :((((
I frickin' love the way it looks AND SOUNDS. Great at creating a scary atmosphere. There was a lot of thought put into the pacing and the scares. The gradual build up was great. Not sure if the last part of it was bugged for me...? Or maybe I unknowingly triggered the ending.
SKIP TO 5:23 FOR CUT SHORT. Art style is great. Scary even if not 3D. The design of the setting was well thought out. The creature also looked pretty unique to the game and was also quite scary. I like how you slowly uncover what's going on. I especially loved the climactic part of the game. It makes it feel more complete. The grabbing mechanic was WEIRD. And the keys kept disappearing. Bonus points to the pictures of the (devs)? AND THE SURPRISE IF YOU GET A BAD ENDING. Got both endings in mine.
Played this game + CUT SHORT if you wanna check it out!!! It's a story we've seen before but I really like the execution and hey it still got me. I really love how you're always accompanied with a sense of dread when asked to do each task because YOU JUST KNOW SOMETHING AIN'T RIGHT. If I were to critique, it would be improve dialogue writing and creature design. I was half-scared and half thinking what it could be. ANYWAY. More thoughts at the end of the playthrough.
Watch this for tips to finish the game fast and for good silly fun time. Again, love your work consistency 3d. If there's an ep 3 let me know asap.
This was even better than the first!! (for me) This is actually my second playthrough (lost footage for the first). Love the twist at the end--the one you have to do to get the good ending. In my case I "partied" with le demonszz.
