Thank you for this very well thought out feedback.

All of these are problems we've been aware of during development, and simply have had to take the lesser evil solution to, especially the fact that there's not a lot of options available to the player during the fight.
This could have been alleviated by giving the boss more attack patterns, but I simply did not have enough time to get more than two of them polished to a level we found acceptable.

Alternatively, the player could have had some manner of dodge roll that caused Iframes, or we discussed having a Bomb that cleared the screen and reset attack patterns, but neither were implemented in time.

All of these are things we definitely would have expanded upon and refined, should we decide to continue work on this particular game, although I fear the technological debt I've incurred by cutting this many corners to implement what we have in the timeframe would require me to start the project fully over.
