Ok, after checking it, it seems we accidentally had the wrong variable set there which blocked progress. I'll have to push out a fix for this tomorrow

Hey there, I fear there was an overlooked mechanic because we forgot to enable the tutorial popup. You can use Cervius to interact with the mindcontrolled Sanguine units which will allow you to dispel the mindcontrol on them. This should make your life much easier in that mission.
As a side note, you can also get other stage skips items by crafting them (you get the special crafting material for those from the arena minigame)
1- Not currently planned but maybe later on. They should be more visible with the new battles at least as they stay between battles.
2- If you're on PC, you can enable the low detail mode in the options to speed up the game
3- Not something we're planning, but we might try to make the combat skippable by pressing a key or tapping the screen later on (though this might take a while to be implemented)
Mmmh unless I'm missing something, it's possible a variable didn't trigger properly. Try replaying 1-4 and 1-5 without skipping the cutscenes. (the demo version is getting pretty old and we've made several fixes since then so it's hard to remember it all. We should be pushing out a new version at the end of this month though)
it's the first time I hear about Window 84 bit? Idk, it might work, best to try the demo lol. As for the release date, it's going to take years, but new versions come out on patreon every few months.
Currently we're going through a major rework of the stages so it's been some time since the last version but there should only be about a month before we can release the next one. Given it reworks base aspects of the game, I will also update the itch demo.
