I feel like i read this a few years ago, on a website that got shut down. Anyway, it’s an interesting story so far. Do you have plans to release the other chapters?

I'm incredibly excited about this game! I'm guessing it's a sort of prequel to Demonhearts because Eniri is still here(which was a funny surprise after seeing her as a skeleton for so long). I'll admit, I'm definitely going to be really mean to her since I know what she does in the future but I'll try to reign it in. I imagine the relationships will be critical just like in Demonhearts and Demonhearts: Hunters. I'm interested in romancing both love interests, kinda sad Zhan isn't an option because he's gorgeous. Will be checking back to see more if there is any.
Honestly, Tik Tok doesn't have enough hype for this wonderful game. I saw this game being promoted on itch's website in 2019 and even downloaded the beta version. It sounded interesting; a visual novel/life sim game where your MC bonds with their new neighbor Cove. It sounded right up my alley so I think I donated some funds to help its development. I soon forgot about it though but it was saved in my favorites. I finally got around to downloading the game and the dlcs that came with it and OMG!!! This game turned out better than I ever expected. And now I'm fangirling so bear with me. Obviously, this game is amazing and well-executed. But what really got me for the game was how nostalgic and relatable the game was. There were some scenes in there that I had done myself in my youth. Like the scene where the MC and her cousin put on a show for their family. I did the same thing with my cousin when I was younger. Or how the Mc's moms would always tell Mc "Good night, sleep tight don't let the bed bugs bite" before bed. My mom said the same thing to me every night. And don't even get me started on Cove. The Cove I had was a really sensitive guy who was prone to crying when his emotions got the best of him and he was terrible at intimacy or sexual situations. All in all, he was an adorable crybaby. And I was honestly wondering if that would put me off the game because I've never gone for sensitive partners in rl but no. I found myself always cooing and reassuring Cove whenever his crying sprite would come up. Like full-on, "No Cove baby, don't cry." It was...definitely a new experience for me. And I loved how the game tackled the serious topics presented, like divorce, adoption, pressure, etc. Cove's parents' story was my favorite one to experience because my parents' story was similar. I feel like stories of divorce are always seen in a negative light when that's not the case. Some people don't work out or click in the end and that's okay. Of course, I totally cried. I could go on and on about the many ways I loved this game but I'm going to end with the final dlc; the wedding. My god, that was amazing. A fully customizable wedding; from the colors, to the cake design, to the music, everything. I appreciated how the game added traditions like jumping over the broom or breaking glass (I picked the jumping over the broom option because my family does that). And maybe this was because I was already 10 hours into the game but when I did the wedding planning, I was tired. At some point, I was frustrated that there was so much to decide on. Really nailed the frustration and mentally exhausting ordeal of planning a wedding there. I'm a little peeved there wasn't a garter toss option for the wedding but maybe it was personality-specific or something. I would have liked that as an option but the bouquet toss makes up for it. I had to videotape the game because I was so impressed with it. I'm excited to see what the alternative love interest routes have in store.
Right because I've played the game and the sequel and they never explain why Parfait never stepped up and rebutted the fairytales. Or helped Hildyr. She was Hildyr's best friend but she let her crumble under all that weight. In the sequel, they try to make an excuse that Parfait was influenced by the Lucim crystal which strived on positive feelings, and because of that she was extremely optimistic about the situation but that makes no sense. She witnessed the harassment and killing of witches and never did anything, she witnessed Hildyr killing the king and didn't do anything. The only time she got involved is when Waltz decided to betray Hildyr. If not for him, Hildyr would still be ruling. The fact of the matter was Parfait didn't see a need to step in because it wasn't affecting her. She doesn't even stop Delora's cruel remarks towards Lucette, she just gives her a stern look then changes the topic. Parfait is a coward and ultimately that caused problems. Another thing that showed Lucette did not deserve this was her relationship with her dad. She's so forgiving in every route she tries to build a relationship with him again and it just boggles me. He spent 4 years after Hildyr's death ignoring and mistreating her but for some reason, he gets the chance at forgiveness? And they try to remedy this by saying he couldn't be near her because of Hildyr and he hosted those surprise parties for her but that all stopped when Hildyr died. Meaning he stopped expressing his love for her. And for no reason too since no one was blocking him from it. I do agree that he showed more care towards Emelaigne and Rod than his own child which is disgusting. This game loves making Lucette the villain or the bad person but no one else was held accountable for their actions.
Firstly, I love this game to pieces. I downloaded it years ago when I was 17 and now I'm replaying it to catch up for the sequel. But even though I love this game, there's something that caught my eye now that I'm playing it as an adult. I see this whole situation in a morally grey area. Hear me out: Lucette is given the Cinderella curse to teach her how to be kind. The problem is, Lucette isn't evil. She behaves more like a temperamental teenager than an actual evil person. Delora and Parfait state they did this so she wouldn't go down the path of her mother but by doing so they are manipulating Lucette. Instead of trying to explain to her why her mother's actions were wrong, they decided the best course of action was to force her to learn how to be kind. Lucette is the victim of abuse, what she needed was a helping hand, not a punishment disguised as a favor. And speaking of Lucette's mother, that is also a morally grey area because it's revealed Lucette's mother was not always like this. But because her species was being murdered and discriminated against by the humans and she could feel every witch's death and pain, she turned insane and bitter. Yes, Hildyr was the worst person alive but I fully think she lost her mind after feeling years of torment and anguish. It's even stated that the Tenebreum Crystal causes the bearer's heart and mind to become corrupt. She is also a victim, none of this would have happened if that Hans guy hadn't portrayed witches in such a way. To me, he's the real villain and even though he was killed by Lucette's mother the damage was already done. Witches are still being persecuted and discriminated against. I was hoping there'd be some more explanation on how the kingdom's racism will be countered now that their queen is half-witch but since this is a romance novel, it'll probably not be addressed.
