Thx for the fast reply! It's Version 1.1.1 and I know what went wrong. We missed to examine the gate. However if you examine the gate after you've been at the mansion no12 nothing happens, the crucial event is not triggered. If you examine the gate before going to Rovelli's manor, everything is okay and the event is activated.
Hi Davide, we're stuck in the game and apparently it's a bug. When we use the gum paper with the torn sheets, we get a cryptic letter. Over at Acuqverde we examine plate 12 and get the response from the butler that Mr. Rovelli has left the mansion. Nothing happens afterwards! I watched a youtube-walkthrough and at this point the game gives an additional information that Emilia is ready to move on to Turin. But this event is not triggered in our session, only in the youtube-videos. We've got the urgent telegram, we've been at the archives for GE240. Is this a bug or did we miss something? The crucial event is simply not triggered.
Hi Stefan, I started playing Hibernated on DOSBOX, but apparently there's a bug in the game. I've 147 points so far, but there's no vibro knife in the sick bay area. I was wondering how to cut the hand from the corpse but didn't find the right item. When I was getting frustrated, I watched some walkthrough videos. In those videos the sickbay area contains a knife, but in my version of the game, it's simply missing. Is that a bug?
Thx a lot for the extensive reply. It seems that I've forgotten to obtain the tome. I do remember that the ghost of Lord Bain told me something about a very important book, but I tried to get it from the library. Thx again for this very well written game, I played it with a friend of mine through the dark hours of december and it was a really pleasant experience! Never imagined that playing a text adventure after all those years could be so worthwhile. I will definitely get the physical versions of Rabenstein and Hibernated!
First of all this game kept me entertained for the past several days and that's really awesome! I will definitely preorder the physical version. I just completed the game with an average score of 390 out of 410 points, reaching the neutral ending. Is there any walkthrough available to see how the play can reach the other endings? I can't figure out how to complete the game with the good ending. Any advice for the final ritual? Apparently you need to do one final thing ...
