Once again, kindly given the opportunity to beta for Arbit!
The complete and utter hopelessness for his career that Hart displays in Ambition Plot 2 is painfully relatable to the point that it almost makes you want to sympathize with him - if not for his absolutely volatile, wretched, totally poisoned outlook on life and how he weaponizes that vitriol against the people around him. Once again I emphasize my struggle with Ambition Plot 1: identify who is worse between Hart and Evil. Where Hart's borderline manic anger towards the world makes him unfavorable, Evil's blatant lack of moral character or consideration for others makes him equally as unpleasant.
That being said, I could not read it fast enough to see how the push-and-pull these two have on one another would turn out. Hart's possessiveness and obsession with Evil balances out perfectly with Evil's nonchalance towards him. It's just as infuriating to read as it would be to be in that situation on either side. (Ultimately Hart is the worst, imo, but do find out for yourself, dear reader).
