It was alright, it felt a bit all over the place

It gives more questions than it answers, but this is fine in this case since this is supposed to be Part 1, the appetizer so to speak lol

You do feel very slow when walking, and for some reason every time I interacted with things the game lagged, this could be due to me using an Intel Arc A750 and not an Nvidia or AMD GPU, nothing gamebreaking or anything.

I am looking forward to more of this!

Another really good experience!

Engaging story line, great art style, nice voice acting, cool mechanics, lots of lore and nice little references to other games

Some of the  voice acting was a bit quiet in the notes, had to make them louder in post, but other than that I did not encounter any bugs or glitches, really nice!

I wish I played this sooner because yeah it’s really good xD

Really love the stuff you make, they always have such character, excited to see more!

Needless to say, I broke a leg and I played my part :)

Amazing game!

I love when horror games utilize your microphone, it adds a tense feeling where your mind goes "If I make a sound, it will find me"

It forces you to stay quiet which makes you pay attention to every single noise in the game, was this ambiance? Was this the monster? Who knows and I do not want to find out xD

The gameplay is rather simple, a quick get in - get out, grab the pages, but it works well!

Love the lore around the factory, notes and newspaper clippings that clear up some questions and create many new ones, which invests you more into the story

Watching it is one thing, playing it is another. I highly recommend people play this for themselves because you do not know how tense it is until you are there yourself lol

What a great game, short but sweet!

I love the tanky controls, which makes the entire game feel older and like old Resident Evil/Biohazard games, it fits the art style and presentation a lot.

The sound design, mechanics and gameplay are really well done! The only small aspect I do not like that there are no checkpoints, for example when you collect all pages and get killed.

Granted it did not take me long to collect them all again, but was a little tedious lol

I love the map mechanic, that you can skip it and that places get marked on the map after you interact with them.

The school layout is fine, nice addition of teleport spots to avoid the monster.

Highly recommend this game, was a lot of fun to play!

Great game with an unexpected ending lol

I loved this, the sandbox type gameplay, where you get just enough to get started and you figure it out on your own, the ambience and setting make all of this come together nicely!

Story wise the game has enough to get you invested in the lore and wanting to find out more and the dialogue from the different customers is really well done!

The game did end rather quickly / abruptly, but honestly it works xD

I like that you did not seem to have  a time limit for the orders, allowing you to screw up or mess around for the fun of it, just wished that the Ketchup did not disappear so fast lol

Looking forward to the Steam release!

Nice little game!

The game got a bit confusing at the end, though that is only because it ramps up in speed very quickly, which leaves some questions open, like why Joe was acting the way he was, or if the player ever got to their destination.

It’s nothing game breaking or anything, but I just wanted to mention it.

Sometimes I did feel like the game lacked audio, but I am not sure if this was just my volume setting or the audio levels of the sounds played

But other than that I enjoyed it, short but sweet, bonus points for the Linux version and the cat image xD

Good game, amazing concept!

I love the concept and I really hope this gets expanded on. Like finding tapes around the house to explore more of the house in both the tape and real world. Bringing in notes and puzzle pieces into the real world to open more rooms, etc

The “scares” were more on the silly side but the atmosphere of the game keep it at a good eerie level

For a first game, not bad!

There are of course some things that could be improved on, however for this being their first game it is not bad!

I was able to bypass the car key and just grab the flashlight through the car, which was funny to me

Yeah the English is broken, but not everyone speaks English as their main language, and the point does get across despite it being broken, so not going to dwell on this point any longer

The “jumpscares” or scares in general are a bit dull, they aren’t bad and I’m glad that they are not in your face with a png overlay and a loud screamer

The store layout / design is a bit weird, like why is there a bedroom in the grocery store lol

The audio levels are a bit all over the place, the music at the end and the gunshot are a bit too loud imo

But all in all, not bad for a first game, I have seen way worse, keep at it and with every game/demo you’ll improve!

Good game! But I think it needs to explain the mechanic a bit better on the first catch.

It may not be obvious to people how to catch the fish, it took me a little to understand it myself.

The atmosphere is great, the style is amazing and the story is eerie, I enjoyed it a lot, but I can see that people could have potential issues seeing as the game does not explain controls / how the mechanic works.

Even just a explanation on the ItchIo page would do to clear up potential confusion

But other than that, I enjoyed it a lot!

This was great!

Surprisingly a lot of things to do, great atmosphere, and fun attention to detail with the Clapper box recreation and the books!

The writing was nice and I think it really made the game come together. The ending felt a bit abrupt to me, but that could just be me lol

The physics based interaction is a really addition, it helps to make the game more fun because you can mess around more. However that can also mean that you could break the game in one way or another xD

All in all I really enjoyed it, impressed with this being the first horror game!

Really cool concept for a game!

It reminds me of games like Superliminal and F-Stop, and honestly this mechanic could be made into a really good horror themed / liminal themed puzzle game!

The atmosphere is great, the look is great and the frogs are amazing lol

I really like that there is no real threat in this game, so it makes your mind wonder what "could" be there, while in reality the only thing you have to fear is yourself lol

An addition I think could be cool for atmosphere (if this game would get expanded on) are text messages from either objects or "someone", that could add a little story or unsettling feeling to the whole game

But all in all, a very good and short game, great concept and feel!

Fun little game!

Was impressive to hear voice acting, did not expect that and it was very nice to hear!

The story/gameplay leaves a few questions open, but other than that it was not bad!

I spawned so many coins the game played at 4FPS :)

Fun little game! The performance was a bit iffy, but that could be because I’m not using an Nvidia system.

Short game but I somehow managed to record for over 1 hour and have this video be 20+ minutes lol

I enjoyed the setting and atmosphere, loved that you could leave the store and see cars drive around. It makes the world feel alive! This is something many other games miss, so I was happy to see it was implemented here

Already posted a review on Steam, but also want to leave one here:

The game is pretty good, I enjoyed playing it a lot!

There is/was a bug I encountered that the developer knows about, since I mentioned it in my Steam review. However, if you are curious, when the Werewolf kills you while you are hiding, your mouse can stop working and you need to reboot the game in order to fix it. Not a big deal, but wirth mentioning.

The performance was also iffy for me, but this can fully be my fault since I run a Intel Arc A750 and not an Nvidia system, though I do have a 2060 as my secondary GPU so I could actually check lol

The story good, I enjoyed it. Yet some more text lore would have been nice, so that way you could maybe get a peak into the werewolf's mind / loss of mind as the transformation takes over or something like this. The werewolf does seem to not be fully a wolf mentally, seeing as he locked Jane (the protagonist) in a cage after carrying her to the house. So there could have been notes written by the werewolf as he started accepting his new form or something like this. The story also leaves the ending up for questions, I will not spoil this here just in-case someone actually reads this and because I do not know if you can make spoiler tags, like you can on Steam xD

The Puzzles were nice, I enjoyed them a lot and they were a nice change of pace! I just wish that the map was a bit bigger since the game shows things in the intro that just never come back, like the cave, maybe there is a secret ending where you escape through the cave and maybe that could be a "bad ending" or something as you leave your friends behind in the house or something like this.

I will not dwell on this too much, since I do not want to act like "Oh this game should have had this and that" because I can fully understand that making a full game like this as a solo dev is already impressive and I have a lot of respect for that!

The game does have "jumpscares", they are very few so they do not appear randomly for a "ha got you" moment. However there is one part where I called a jumpscare seconds before it happened and it got me pretty good lol

My video is pretty long but it covers basically the entire game, so if you want to check that out - and see the bug and jumpscare in action, the embeded link is up there lol

All in all, it is worth the money, it is a great game and really wish I had more of games like these, with a good amount of story, little things to do and atmosphere. Bonus points for being able to feed the raccoon, sadly tho the raccoon is not seen again after you enter the house lol

Great Demo, looking forward to the full release!

I really liked this demo, it sets the mood, introduces you to the characters and leaves you wanting for more, loved it!

Definitely going to be checking out the full game when it comes out!

Bonus points for best raccoon friend xD

Aw thanks! Glad I’m able to help out!

Cannot wait to see the follow up and collect more door openers, I’ll try my best to find bugs for you xD

And a big thank you for making really neat games, they’re always fun to check out!

A fun little game, as usual!

Really liked it! The polish is missing but it  was made for a game jam and it’s fun to play!

Loved the setting and I hope this gets a follow up, it did say To be Continued after all xD

The concept with turning into a rat to travel through pipes is really neat!

The narration was fun to listen to but a bit too fast for me so I had to race the subtitles to get some of the story lol

Also those water splashes were LOUD xD

Neat little game!

I cannot believe I ate the pizza cold tho..

I feel like the game could have used more ambiance, like maybe some more houses on the street, ambience noise, small shop jingle and maybe some cars driving by here or there.

Though the complete silence may also be on purpose, and if that is the case, then it nailed it.

I was able to get the tsk text to display previous tasks, making them overlap, that is visible in my video.

Other than what I have mentioned, it’s an alright little game, short but it does have an interesting story!

Great concept, but sadly very short!

I absolutely love the style and concept of this game, the weird 1x1 aspect ratio plus the narrow fov makes this game tense, because you cannot see much at all.

I wish there were more levels because this concept has a lot of potential, having to worry about sprint management and what objects you already searched is a really unique take on a horror game.

Some things worth mentioning tho

- The money amount seems to be both in $ and £, which was a little weird seeing that at first lol

- You can clip out of the map in the Train during the dialogue if you dash long enough

Other than that, really good game, loved it!

This was way more brutal than I thought

This game nails the style of N64 games really well, the fact that the player and other objects look like/are 2D sprites like Nintendo did for Mario Kart 64 is such a nice touch.

The game breaking down as you go on was done really well and I’m sure there is a deeper story that I have sadly missed.

I thought the map layout of the highway was a little confusing, but that also made added an unsettling nature to it.

The ending was very brutal and I did not expect it, very well done!

The amount of dread this game gives is unbelievable.

The concept of being in a tight cave where you can only crawl forward is a claustrophobic nightmare, and I love it!

The monster is really well done in both gimmick and design, I absolutely love that the pictures you take actually get saved to a folder, but for some reason the button did not work for me and I had to look for the folder myself, no clue why this happened tbh

The Polaroid gimmick is also very well done, tho I do find it funny that each cartridge holds a single photo, that’s a lot of plastic waste xD

A real gem of a game that I will have to force some of my friends through for sure xD

Fun little game!

I like the concept a lot, Mines can be a scary place. Wish there was more to the gameplay, but for what it is, it’s fine.

The ending sequence was pretty nice, having to avoid the eye and get out before the timer is up.

Bonus points for having a Linux port, I love to see that!

Short, but incredibly well made!

The concept of playing a game within a game is really cool, especially considering that you are controlling the person/monster.

I love the art style of the game, it’s very well done. That the room has subtle elements to it, like the books falling or the light flickering helps the atmosphere a lot and makes you wonder what you picked up on your way home.

Seeing the monster for the first time does remove some of the tension, but other than that the game has you constantly on the hook, wondering what’s gonna happen next

Honestly it did surprise me!

I did not expect this game to be this interesting and use the Resident Evil mansion xD

The story is interesting but I feel like, despite this game being short, there could have been done so much more with it, for example:

- The town is mentioned by name but sadly you already start in the Mansion, missed opportunity to actually show the town and leave the mansion for the finale

- The Mansion could have had more rooms to be explorable with maybe different types of enemies

Other than that, it was surprisingly creative with the puzzles and I did really enjoy it!

A fun short game!

There are some things I would like to point out though;

- A couple spelling mistakes
- The lamp shade's shader in the basement has the culling mode set to off, which makes the inside of the lamp shade invisible

- Getting stuck on walls / the character stopping is kinda annoying, especially upstairs

These were only small nitpicks, but something I think that could have done better was the story; the premise is okay but the story feels very disconnected to the game. It is only mentioned on here and not in the game, which is especially confusing for a viewer for example.

Plus why is he "seeking revenge" on the player? What did the player do to the antagonist? Things like this could have been fleshed out more.

I do know that this is just a short game, but it could have made the game a little bit better in my opinion, but other than that it was not bad and I did enjoy it!

Aww thank you!

Video has chapters, this is the last one I played!

Good game! I like the concept, the atmosphere and the lore in this game.

One thing to mention; the enemy in the second floor was a bit unclear to understand on "what to do", so I had to resort on watching someone's video for that part.

But other than that, I really liked it! Tho maaayybe the NSFW mode option should be disabled by default, I don't know what or if it does anything, but you know lol

Happy Holidays!

Video has Chapters, this one is the first!

I really love the style, setting and charm of it. But as you may already expect, the second task made me look up a video xD

I thought the game broke because right under where the Garlands should be, there is a thing sticking out of the floor. So I assumed the game was broken, I think it also made it a bit more confusing since the Basement is locked at first, I believe. And that you usually interacted with objectives directly (Fireplace, Dishes, etc)

But other than that, this shader/texture work for this game is amazing, really well done, and the charm was in point!

The game really stands out with its visual style!

Happy Holidays!

I can only say: what did I just play xD

That ending caught me off guard so hard lol

It's fun, gameplay is simple and you can outrun Santa easily (unless he got you cornered lol)

Short but sweet!

Oh I love this game, the style of it reminds me of Im Scared and the audio is just perfect!

Made me think that I'm playing a horror game from 2010-2012 xD

Short and sweet!

What a lovely game!

I knew I saw that house from somewhere lol (not complaining about the use of assets, good to see that this house is a usable asset!)

I love the story and endings of it, very charming and at some points very unexpected!

I did almost manage to glitch out of the house, sadly I did not succeed xD

A fun little game!

I really liked it, wish it was a bit longer tho xD

Also can I quickly say, that spray bottle effect on the windows is top tier xD

What a good little game!

I enjoyed it a lot! Went to get the endings because I was curious about what may happen and it was pretty interesting, I had my fun with it, thank you for this short little horror experience!

Wow. Simply wow..

This is amazing, I knew your previous game was good but this game tops that. This is genuinely one of, if not, the best game I have played so far on ItchIo

The story is great, the atmosphere is perfect and the sound is very well done!

I would like to see some accessibility options, like the camera flash being reduced for the people who are sensitive to flashing lights, however other than that, I have no real criticism about this game.

A bug I did encounter however, was that if you reverse your car, it seems to just speed up quite a bit, Big Rigs style xD

Other than that, so excited to see what you will make next!

This is a very good game, I really like it!

That artstyle and presentation of this game is great, but I do have some things I would like to mention:

  • To me it was a bit confusing at first since I did not really understand what I had to do, with playing that sorted itself though
  • The Chica Showdown was a bit annoying to learn since restarting meant losing a couple minutes where time already felt super slow
  • I feel like that there is a contrediction with the "lights confuse animatronics" thing, since in the vent to your left, you have to turn on the lights to stop, for example, Bonnie

Other that that it was a really nice bite-sized game and it captures the FNAF aesthetic perfectly! Animations, modeling, lighting and the surroundings felt really well made!

Plus that this game was made in Godot is a plus in my book, very cool!

Nice game!

It’s short but sweet, very well done! The ending did feel a bit forced, however, other than that I like the atmosphere and sound design of the game.

The bed upstairs seems to have no collision and you can open/close a door upstairs through the ceiling light in the kitchen, so that may be something to check out!

Here it is!

I did really enjoy it! It has replayability and I do really like that. I also like that the layout seems to be randomized on each run, I do not know if it is for sure, but it definitely felt that way!

As always, some of the feedback I mentioned before (the comment before) is also mentioned at the end of the video, in case you would like to hear that!

Very impressed by your games, and I hope to continue playing and sharing my thoughts on your upcoming games!

Nice game!

I wanted to write a comment just to give my current thoughts on it, I will post a new comment once my video is done, in case you want to see that when it is done (aka on Friday lol).

So far I would like to just mention a few things that could maybe make the game a little "better" (lack of a better term..)

- The tutorial text in game was a bit too fast for me to read, maybe having to click the mouse to progress would make the tutorial more newcomer friendly, since I had basically no idea what to do

- The key model looked more like a handsaw to me, could be just me, but maybe updating that model would be helpful lol

- Adding how many fuel cans you have in the inventory could be useful for planning

- I did not encounter the different 2 enemies, just Shelly. I don't know if you are supposed to encounter them, but yeah I have not seen them while playing lol

- Maybe allowing the flashlight to be toggled on/off while the generator is running could be useful

That's all I can think of for now, as always I really like checking out your games, they have a certiain charm to them!

I’m glad that you find the comment helpful ^^
