As an alternative from the other helper.
What i did is rename the .apk to .zip and just extract the whole files(including the codes neccessary for android).
Just backup the apk and delete the files you don't want in your phone.
Also, please note that not all games may be extracted this easily, so far i encountered no other that kept the rpa intact(edit: and i mean all those files that should be inside a rpa are outside) .
Alternatively, on android, you can just edit
farbeyondtheblablabla.apk to
farbeyondtheblablabla.zip
and extract EVERYTHING including soundtracks.
Just make sure to backup the apk file since this proccess corrupts it ans the zip file is as good as another extra file.
Edit: and delete the extra files from the extracted files to save space, most of those are just scripts, gui, and codes for android.
And a side note: prepare your gallery for potential... growth in files from 1979.
if you want to keep your saves.
Go to android/data/farbeyondtheworld.com/files/
Everything there should be your saves, backup all of that. Updating directly is impossible, you NEED to uninstall the old version to install the new one.
After installing the new one, open it, start a new game, save at least one file(anywhen) and quit. Go copy your save backups to that same path earlier.
Go back to the game, select load and voila, theres your exact same loads from the old version, be it quicksaves or normal saves.
Hopefully this helps.
