The game won't let me leave to the right in the first zone (Cascade Heights), I've tried on multiple saves from the current build and I just stop at the edge of the zone.

Not entirely sure but it may be that she manages to get out of her room there before you close the door. When you pull up the camera screen you can see where all the girls are. Check to make sure she is still in her room to the side of the hallway, if not she's probably out and ready to jump on you. Not sure if there's any way to put her back in there if she does got out but I'm also not sure if she actually leaves the room. If it does keep happening, and you know for sure she's in the room, then I would report it as a possible bug and see what the devs say.

There's a door button in the left hallway. When you hear the sound of a large metal door screeching open give that button a press. Simple as that.

I figured it out and am, in fact, an idiot.

I feel like an idiot, how do you deal with the shark girl(?) I've died to her 4 times now and still have no idea wtf happened. the only thing I know for sure is that she shows up when I go to use the Hog Boi to regain sanity sometimes and not other times and don't know how else it works.

Once you have gotten far enough in a girl's personal story for them to reach 4 Love, shown on their character cards as the hearts, you will have a chance to get them pregnant each time you have sex with them. The only exception to the rule at the moment is Gwen who starts at 5 Love but isn't set to be able to get pregnant yet, but will in the future.

Once you are in the Nexus there should be a new icon on the left for "Use Key", it will pull up a text box you can type in, then just type in "clap" and it should take you somewhere new.

Thank you. I met her through pregnancy so I wasn't sure and didn't really feel like starting a new save just to find out since all of my saves are from after I did.

Can you still meet Artifact in the current build without getting one of the girls pregnant? Genuinely asking for a friend.

Once you unlock the ability to enter the Nexus go visit the General Store in town and buy the matches than go to her Demanse, there should be a candle at the entrance you can light. Once you light the candle follow where it says the flame flickers towards. Eventually you will reach her main chambers, after which you will enter her Demanse from there every time you go there. From there you should be able to meet her and get her card after a short cutscene.

Unfortunately as it stands now, yes you will have to redownload the game when 1.3 comes but due to how Ren'Py stores saves your save file will transfer to the new version and once you open, load and re-save in 1.3 you can safely delete 1.2 if you want to save space. The only Koikatsu/Ren'Py game (the art and playstyle of this game) that has an updater right now is Champion of Realms and even that updater is still in testing and is far from good atm. Luckily this and most other Koikatsu/Ren'Py games usually have substantial updates that add close to 2 or 3 hours of gameplay per update for their free releases here in Itch, every month or so for some. HHG is one that takes a long time to get the free updates but they are BIG when they come.
