I've noticed the same too, it's somewhat more consistent if I slash while it's sped up but I still miss a few. The "The Generator" thing wouldn't stop your progress by the way, it's not the answer thankfully.

huh.. completed it very easily, 3 ladders untouched, right side of the map left unexplored. can't tell if those are red herrings or if there's an intended solution involving them that I missed.

pretty good game! Very funny that you can repeatedly shut down the bank account as the cutscene plays and it overlaps with itself

I woke up, pat my cat, go to work, slept in, decide to contemplate about not going to work on my second day for 108  dialogues, opened up to an online friend and unleashed a demon that absorbed all of my depression, thanks demon!
