We'll probably finish way before Final Release, but yes, next release will be Honeybee Release and will have its own Honeybee Medley

Hole in One is coming in release 2, yep!

I saw Game X in a Heaven Studio remix, but I can't find it in the editor/I’m getting “No Game” when playing a chart!

It was probably a game from the Nightly build! It's a special beta build of Heaven Studio you can download from our Github Page. In it, you can find games in progress for the next release! Be advised, though - games in the Nightly build are liable to be unfinished, unstable, and in a state of constant working and reworking. Don't say we didn't warn you!

That's our april fools build! If you'd like to play the regular game, please download the current regular build from here: https://github.com/RHeavenStudio/HeavenStudio/releases/tag/v1.0.1

We'll have a new regular build, 1.0.2, up within the next week hopefully.

I'm gonna be blunt, Heaven Studio really is very much intended for people who have played the actual games before, we don't have detailed tutorials for all 52 games because it would just be a nightmare to set up and manage. If you're having trouble with a specific game there will always be people in the Discord who are happy to help, I think.

I've reached out to them about it beforehand, just around a year ago now, and we discussed it a bit then. I believe Louie prefers to keep Rhythm Hell as a separate thing, which we respect! If they ever change their mind for any reason, we'd be happy to have it in, but for now that's the status on it :)

Replaced the discord link, but it should be okay regardless. The youtube account has been terminated for a while though, yes. If we ever want to share videos we'll be posting them through the twitter

You need to map it to keyboard inputs

Yeah, that should work

Yep, this is a problem on some versions of Linux right now, we hope to have it fixed in version 1.1 when that drops

Which platform are you running the game on? This may occur on certain versions of Linux, should be fixed soon if it's that, just narrowing down which issue it is

Sorry, have you run Heaven Studio.exe? That's how you run the game

Xbox is planned for the next release! Xinput is just a little tricky to work with, so bear with us for a bit.

In the meantime, if you really want to use an Xbox controller, you can always use something like JoyToKey or Steam Input to remap your buttons to controller keys.

Hi! You were banned for having your pronouns set as a racial slur. Hope this helps :)

yeah, unfortunately latency calibration isn't really a thing a game like rhythm heaven allows for, the best we can do is rework the audio engine to get it to be as low latency as possible, akin to what bits & bops does. we're planning to do that down the road, but for now we've gotta live with it

We eventually plan to make a build tailored specifically for the deck, but until then, one of our community members, Vincells, has graciously put together a nice little guide that should work for now. Just know that things may break :)

All games from RH are planned to be added eventually, it's just a matter of who wants to work on what. I will say though that out of these, the next major release will likely have most of them :)

Code remix bugging out is a known issue with Lockstep on Mac, should be fixed in the next release, hopefully! Integrated level picker and an in-game timing display are also planned. Thank you so much for playing <3

what was your username? i can look into this

ok

Input display is planned for a future version! Glad you had fun otherwise, though!

Linux Mint, right? We're having problems with that specific type of Linux right now due to it lacking controller drivers (which also happens to lock up All controls in the game,  even keyboard). All I can say is we'll probably have it fixed by the next version, I hope?

Are you on the newest version? This should have been fixed as of version 1.0.1. Join our discord for more help!

Rhythm heaven fundamentally does not work with calibration. the visual and audio feedback of all minigames would essentially require turning back time if we wanted to implement offset unlike other games where the input can be easily changed or set late. We do eventually plan on implementing a custom audio engine a-la Bits & Bops to reduce latency to almost nothing, though.

Switch, PS4, and PS5 controllers currently work! We're working on more support for the future though, for stuff like XBOX controllers and even Wiimotes :)

Planned, eventually! Right now we're using sort of a mish-mash of english and japanese, but eventually you'll be able to freely toggle between them, per-game

No XBOX controller support currently! Sorry

Heaven Studio won’t include any tutorials for existing Rhythm Heaven games. It is not a replacement for official games, and therefore does require knowledge of the original games. Any games NOT from the Rhythm Heaven series, such as Meat Grinder and Rhythm Sōmen, will get their own practices.

No mobile version right now or for the foreseeable future, sorry.

Full disclosure, all of us had a discussion a while back, and if Nintendo takes us down, that's a net positive for us, we're just doing this out of love for the series and frustration at its inaccessibility and lack of new entries. If they make a Rhythm Heaven 5 we will literally just lock downloads and replace the entire page with big bold text GO BUY THE NEW RH because we just want to see the series thrive

Yup it's 64 bit Linux!

The discord is the best place to do that currently!
