The game should go immediately to the options when first run - you can set it to 2x or 3x window size there

EDIT: The game has also been updated to scale to the largest size that fits on the screen on first launch

Unfortunately Godot 4 doesn't yet have OpenGL support, since they rewrote so much of the engine code. They hope to have it back in 4.1, though!

Cute, but a bit repetive. Planting all your trees in one spot and standing there seems to be the winning strategy

I like this one! Being helpful is your weapon!

Very cute! I think I got stuck. But it's charming and I like it!

Hello dreamers!

This is an early version of Fantasia's Fancy cobbled together for the GameJam.

Fantasia's Fancy is made with Godot 4. Godot supports a massive number of possible controllers and recognizes hundreds of specific ones by name. The code we've scrambled together for Fantasia's Fancy does a quick and dirty scan of the current recognized control device's name to estimate a controller family and show the appropriate convention, e.g. ◯✖□△ for PlayStation style <--> BAXY for XBox style, etc.

However, we don't have any of these controllers handy to test, so we can't guarantee that either the device family detection or the input rebinding works properly with controllers. Every single step of developing this game broke or went wrong so we're sure this isn't working right either.

If you can put up with the default control scheme - which only supports the D-Pad for moving - then it should be fine. In the future we hope to get a few USB controllers of various styles to test this and future games with.
