While this was interesting and different. I didn't find it that fun to play. I know there's a highscore to try and encourage replay value, but this had a lot of waiting, and that kind of discourages me from playing it. I really appreciate the aesthetics and voice acting. I'm not that into the story. I can tell you tried to be very creative, and I can give you a lot of credit for it. I could see something like this working out well if it felt a little better to play. There is some high risk, high reward aspect to it. It's easy to understand. To me the physics of the main character feel minimal, and I tend to prefer a more complex wall jumping mechanic. I gave my raw reaction to all the entries into Based Game Jam 2024. I think the idea of having directional attacks and needing to aim around defenses is good, but the arm flashing around the screen quickly when you move the camera made me a little nauseous. I can appreciate what you tried to accomplish, but it wasn't personally for me. I gave my raw impressions to all the entries in Base Game Jam 2024. This game is included in part of this video.
