It's not something that I'm against, but also not something I'm particularly keen on. If lots of people want it there will probably be an option to have it later in the game!

For sure, the game is still in early development so we will have to wait and see when we get there but there is a good chance that they will be avoidable!
All the skippable scenes will either not have any effect on the story, or the player will be very aware of what is happening they will just not watch the scene.
