Hey Steve,
add me on Discord Riki Klein#9471
I will try to keep this short and to the point, but I am happy to answer any questions in the comments.
About me:
- 26 M
- 3D Artist Trainee in the games industry
- have been into art my entire life, started with 3D and Game Art about 1.5 years ago
- small glimps into my portfolio that is not up to date at all: www.riki-klein.de (mostly in German currently)
- understand basic programming but can not write code myself (I can follow along with tutorials)
- have a couple of hours weekly to put into game development (I am working full time)
- have lots of ideas for games that are way too big for 2 people (but by now have enough experience to be able to break them down so they are achievable)
- open for other ideas and criticism
Programs I use (mostly):
- Blender
- Substance Designer and Painter
- Unity
What/Who I am looking for:
- C#/Unity developer (can be a beginner, but I am not able to teach as I can't write code myself, so some experience would be good) - interested in games
- looking to finish projects they started (however big/small they are, because quite frankly I am sick of starting projects and not finish them)
- looking to improve their skills and learn new ones
- has a few hours weekly to put into game development (doesn't have to be set hours each week)
- just a nice person that wants to work on games with someone else
Cheers,
Riki
Hey CoalFire,
thank you very much for your feedback. You made some really good points. Especially about the waves not having an effect on the enemies and just guarding the energy-altar. We will try out some ways to make this strategy less viable.
Also there should be a fail-state, seems like you encountered a bug, we will investigate this.
Cheers, Riki
Control your hands to protect the energy that keeps you alive against hordes of bad guys that want to take it from you, in this wave-based action defense game.
Tiaki puts the player in the shoes (or rather the hands) of an environment that is kept alive by an unknown energy. The player must use his hands to squash hordes of bad guys trying to steal that energy for their own use, but watch out for the friendly birds that find scattered energy and return it to the altar where the energy is stored.
