Fun concept! I like the changing background and different characters each time. I did find a way to kind of cheat by rapidly pressing both the spacebar and the mouse at the same time. Maybe make pressing the spacebar loose time if the door is closed so you can only press the spacebar when a person is available. Nice work!

Heyyy nice work partner

Sammme... Made it with a friend who is going to submit it since my internet is crap

Awesome thanks! Eagerly waiting 😆

Please make a Linux release!?
I love the visuals, nice work!!
By the way, what engine are you using?

What is going on here? Lol
I love the business of everything and the graphics. Great concept, but a little more instruction would be nice. I couldn't figure out what ended the game, and a couple of times the game ended as soon as it started. I could understand the idea of recruiting cult members, to.. open alters? Couldn't figure that out either. Maybe I'm just bad at video games.
Anyways nice work, the game was still pretty fun, even though I couldn't figure it out.

The physics/player control was a bit weird, I kept getting stuck in the ground and it took a while to jump over the first enemy. It would have been more enjoyable to jump higher with every light collected instead of just staying in the air longer. The time taken to get into the air should be the same as the time getting back to the ground.
I loved the lighting and plant art, although the enemies and player could be more distinguished. (What were those things anyways?)

Nice job, happy coding!

Oh man I agree; setting up texture painting in blender is a pain. 😂

Funny concept, nice job on visuals, especially the caxtus models. One thing I would suggest is giving a new hat sooner; currently it appears it only gives a new one when it hits the ground which is a while after it's past the cactus/gone off the screen.

Fun game, nice work!

You got this! Brackeys showed us how to make a game in 10 minutes, that's enough time to grind out another 42 games!

The resolution did seem to end up too small, but the idea is you can change colors to interact with or phase through blocks of the same color.

Cool game! Love the audio and concept. One suggestion, 'w' isn't used by anything, so you could add it in to the jump controls. I couldn't make it past the sixth level, but it seems like a pretty seamless game. Nice work!

Thank you for your feedback! It's my first game jam, and I'm still working on the details.

In chrome, go to chrome://flags, search up webGL and enable all the options there. That's what worked for me anyways, it depends on your device.

Thanks! The game certainly has things that need to be tweaked 😉

Great work on this! The pixel art theme fits great through the whole thing, and the serene audio was fitting. Some audio suggestions I'd make: it'd be cool if the music changed when you use the second ability, and some gameplay sound effect would be the sugar topping.

I found this a problem when publishing... Apparently you need a web browser that supports WebGL. Sometimes this can be enabled in the settings: In chrome, go to chrome://flags and search WebGL. Make sure it's enabled. In Firefox, I understand it's somewhere under about:config.

Looking back I really should have just compiled and uploaded a Windows executable. Oh well, guess I'll update it when the jam is over.
