Oh man, there’s Android support planned? Now I’m really looking forward to IVT2! I’m sure you’ll be able to fix the textures and collisions soon, a new engine always brings about new ideas to solve problems.

Any new features that you’re planning and would like to tease? Really looking forward to IVT2, good luck!

The balloon control mechanic seems really interesting! Could make for a lot of interesting platforming challenges compared to the standard jump, and it was pretty clever use of the button limit too.

A minor suggestions, if you don't mind: the balloon could be made a bit more consistent, right now how much you need to inflate to go up seems to change slightly every time.

Great work on the game!

Thanks a lot!

Loved this! The grain effect, the cardboard cutouts of 2D buildings in 3D, the hurricane, the atmosphere, everything was done really well.

A few suggestions, if you don't mind: the main menu could be more flexible in terms of screen resolution, the menu wouldn't fit on my 1366x768 screen; the hurricane looked great, but pressing the mouse button lags a lot, even though this is just a jam entry, since that is the core mechanic it might be worth looking into optimisations.

Great work on this game overall. With a tiny bit of polish, it could be a great atmospheric casual game!

Thank you for trying it out!

I'd love to figure out and resolve whatever issue you're facing, but I'm not sure how since it seems to work fine on my end. Would you have any debugging ideas in mind?

Not surprised something went wrong though. This was my first time using Godot, and the script to handle the movement mechanics ended up being super hacky so I could integrate the animations.

Thank you so much for testing and reviewing!

Most of the content, from the puzzles to the music, was whatever half-asleep me could throw together right before the deadline, so I'd love to come back and polish this game when I get some time.

Loved it! Especially the charming artwork.

A few suggestions, if you don't mind: the scrap count text could be in a different color, right now it blends too much into the background; a progress bar to show how much of the day you've covered could be a nice quality-of-life feature; if you hold down A or D too long, the trawler suddenly jumps to face the other direction, not sure if this was intended gameplay though :)

Great work here!

Loved the idea! Lots of room for future levels and/or obstacles here too.

A minor suggestion, if you don't mind: the fans could use some visual cues, right now it seems as if they randomly blow you away whenever they want to.

Overall, great work!

Really liked the story, and had fun trying out all the options!

A few suggestions, if you don't mind: in some places the delay between paragraphs is a bit too long without any visual feedback, makes it seem like something might be stuck, while in others it's too short to read the text; and a try again option at the end would be nice for the people who want to try out all the choices, right now I had to refresh the page every time.

Would love to check it out again if you ever decide to expand upon the story!

Pretty fun yet challenging game! I reached 3100, what's the dev high score?

A few suggestions, if you don't mind: visual feedback for the user blowing the balloon could help make the controls easier; also the collider hitboxes might be ever-so-slightly off, as I lost from touching the cloud shadow a few times.

Overall, a dab of polish and you'll have a great casual game on your hands!
