Wow! I'm actually kind of glad I wasn't wearing the Oculus Rift when playing this or I might have been scarred for life! But, you certainly nailed "Romance" and "Psychedelia".
You definitely got 5 stars in the category "The Void"! I really enjoyed this one (played it twice!) but, like Pierrec, I would have liked some sort of visual cue which general direction to head to find the gates.
