Wonderful looking game! I want to be able to buy something for the diamonds so that I have more of a motivation to collect them other than for the score. Good job!

Nice game! Some suggestions I would have is to make the life of the character a bit more visible (maybe a health bar instead and explain which buttons to press in the second game, I was not sure at first if it is wasd or the arrow keys. Anyway, keep grinding it looks great!

Hey :)
I played a round and wrote down some thoughts. I am sure you are aware of some and they will be tackled in the future but maybe you are not aware of all of it. Good job though keep grinding!

- I would expect the sliders to keep sliding when I have the mouse button down but left the hitbox of the slider  but currently, it stops (if that makes sense)

- If I try to delete the name I entered with backspace I have to press multiple times I cannot just hold to delete

- I would start at lvl 1, not lvl 0

- Larger icons for the map would be nice

- When increasing Mind etc. it would be nice to see on hove what the increase will do. Right now I have to guess what happens and press

- I would like to know exactly how much damage my attack does and how much HP the opponents have. So it feels less random and you have more control as a player

- Make the hp left a decimal limited to X numbers after a decimal. Right now it reads 5.999999999999999999996

The next floor button is overlapping at the moment with the grey thing

- When visualizing when whose turn is try to do it more clearly. My recommendation look at a fight scene from "Battle Brothers" they have a timeline for this

- just clicking on the sprite of the enemy would be nicer when attacking, not the button

- I can buy 2 times a knife but for different prices. What is the difference

Hey! I tried to play your game but I am pretty sure you are missing some more files so that I could run the downloaded file. I am not using Godot myself so I am not sure what you are missing.
Also, the canvas size for the web version is very big (too big for me to play it on my laptop properly)

No worries :)

(1 edit)

I played a bit and wrote down some thoughts. Generally, the burning is satisfying and it will be the main reason why people play it in my opinion. You could add skillshots or something like that or different animations when the fire is bigger so you would have a combo maybe. Keep going good job!

Here my thoughts:

Menu

- Continue button makes no sense if I have never played the game

- I can see the background button image in the menu. I assume you do not want it to be visible

Game

- I would make the intro skippable. Many people would just stop playing because it takes a long time

- I tried clicking with my mouse on the level because there is no feedback on the controls

- I would like it if the is a collision animation if you dash into something or destroy it because it broke

- I did not understand at first that the goal is to burn as much as possible until you reach 100%. Add something for that to the tutorial

- say over the checkpoint that it is a checkpoint or something like that. I was not aware of what it does until I died

- The game crashed when I wanted to finish level 2

- Maybe show somehow when the dash is available again

Agreed that would be good/better as well

Can you please make an update where you guarantee that it is solvable :D I spend too long trying to get it right, but I always run out of numbers even if I only do the pairs (5/5,6/4,7/3,8/2,9/1). Or maybe make sure that there is an even amount of each number. It triggers me that I can never clean up perfectly. :D
