Oh no, so sorry that I spread false information then, I'll correct it in the blogpost! 😂 But: even more impressed that you wrote the dialogues yourself!
I'll take your feedback into consideration for our next gamejam-streams, maybe we can add a little more review-talk. 😊Oh and thanks, Marie was probably my favorite character to voice during all our playthroughs! 😄

As you know, we had a lot of fun with Fixalot on stream! Props to all your amazing voice actors as well! 🥰 I wrote short recaps of all the submissions for our blog, let me just add this here:

Fixalot follows the adventures of a handy-slug that has to fix the local power station as the castle suffers from a blackout, forcing all the kingdom’s animals to stop their party. On the way, you encounter all kinds of different animals, creatures and of course: puzzles.

What really stands out in Fixalot, besides all the funny situations and dialogues, is the voice acting. Studio Hazy managed to bring professional voice actors on board and it shows! While we always have fun doing the voice acting ourselves on stream, we were happy to step back and let the voice actors shine in this one. Also, are teeth bones?

Hey Ari, thank you for Contact.zip and for joining (and helping) us when we played it on stream! 🥰 I wrote short descriptions of all the submissions for our blog, let me just add this here:

This game definitely stands out among all the submissions, as it is the only game that is played in your file management system and does not include an actual app! On a soon-to-be recycled computer, you find a few remaining files labeled “contact.zip”, and they hide a mystery…

Thank you, SecretFoxFire, for showing that you don’t have to be a programmer to make a great game! Everyone can do so, with a great idea and the creativity and ambition to implement it. This also serves to diversify the selection of games! Sadly, we didn’t have nearly enough time to finish this, but it’s a great contender for its own stream!

Thank you for developing We've Been Trying To Contact You, we had a lot of fun playing it on stream! 🥰 I wrote short descriptions of all the submissions for our blog, let me just add this here:

While at first glance We’ve Been Trying to Contact You reminded us of Pokemon (visually), it certainly captures a very different vibe. As a strange car salesman is trying to make us buy a car, his approaches get more and more aggressive and… spooky. The sound design especially made this game a creepy experience that left a lasting impression. You should give this game a try if you’re craving a chill along your spine.

We had a lot of fun exploring Torus Trap's environment on stream, thank you for it! 🥰 I wrote short descriptions of all the submissions for our blog, let me just add this here:

Torus Trap is certainly an ambitious project! The game follows lonely spaceman Ernie, whose only source of interaction is the ship’s unbearably serious AI Anteros, during his daily routine. While we could already explore the whole ship and its humorous locations (be it the messy Mess Hall or the Life Support filled with motivating messages), there was not much to do – yet! The basis is great and we’re really hoping that Ernieboros will continue to finish the game!

Thank you for developing Space Spy, we had a lot of fun playing it on stream! 🥰 I wrote short recaps of all submissions for our blog, let me just add this here:

In Space Spy: Contact Uranus we had to infiltrate the Still Independent Criminal Association’s annual Gala to find our Contact and thwart an evil plan!

It’s a charming game, full of interesting characters (honestly, it was hard to decide who to talk to first) and great humor – we certainly had a lot of fun with it, even though we could not finish it in time!

Thanks for developing Space Marmalade! Even though we didn't come near to finishing it on stream, we had a lot of fun with it! 🥰 I wrote short recaps of all the games for our blog, let me add this here

Space Marmalade certainly features a surreal storyline: Jeff, a technician on a salvage space ship, works on his first video game, which he wants to submit to AdvXJam 2042 – and his acceptance speech for the best game is already coming along nicely.

While we were not near to finishing this game after our 15 minutes with it, we got to see some witty dialogues and well-thought-out gameplay, namely doing Jeff’s work and collecting space salvage. We also had a lot of fun voicing this and were happy that Robo-Jens had his time to shine!

Hey Amy! As you know, we had a lot of fun playing Hoofield on stream, thank you for this! 🥰 I wrote short descriptions of all the submissions for our blog, let me add this here:

Hoofield is a wonderful love letter to Powerhoof, a studio that is best known for its dungeon crawler Crawl and the 2D adventure toolkit PowerQuest, as well as the famous TV series Seinfeld.

This is such a satisfying game that we actually managed to complete in the short time we had. It throws you right into the Sitcom-feeling and leaves you with a lot of sympathy for its limited cast of characters – like PowerHoof's Dave, who really just wants to relax for a minute after releasing their latest masterpiece. But will his neighbors let him?

Thank you so much for developing The Package, we had a lot of fun playing it on stream! 😊I wrote short descriptions of all the submissions for our blog and I wanna add this one here:

Short but sweet – Analog Limb developed the Package in just one day! While it only took us a few minutes to finish it, it sets a great basis for more content. Visually and especially acoustically, it was a satisfying experience that leaves us waiting to find out more about our two main characters and the mysterious package they’re carrying.

We played The Weeping Chronicler's Tale of Cursed Volaria on stream and had a lot of fun with it! 😊
I wrote little recaps for our Off The Beaten Track Blog and I want to add this here:

As the only first-person game among this jam's submissions, The Weepong Chronicler's Tale of Cursed Volaria tells its story a little different. While delving through a dungeon and defeating the residing creatures, you'll find scrolls that tell a story of how the kinkingdom of Volaria became cursed.

The game offered a beautiful combination of gameplay and storytelling and left us wanting to find out more and possibly save this cursed kingdom!

Thank you for developing Ossuarium! We had so much fun when we played it on our stream, thank you for joining us! 😊
I wrote little recaps of the AdvXJam games for our blog and I'll add this one here:

Ossuarium quickly cast a spell on us with its witty puzzles and wonderful dialogues. The Devs used a Shakespearean Translator and let's just say it was a lot of fun voicing the resulting dialogues.

The game takes place in a black-and-white medieval world and puts you into the shoes of Marie and Jakub, who are trying to escape a terrible curse. A wonderful point-and-click adventure that we appreciate for its dark humor!

Thank you for this Vance! 🥰 As you know, we had A LOT of fun playing Language Spy on stream and training our Spanish skills!!I wrote little recaps for our our blog, and I'll just add this here:

Now, this is a special one! We’ve played games by Vance (Stand Off Software) before and we were excited to see his name among the participants of this jam. Language Spy: Covert Contact is a simple language learning game that challenges you to decipher the language of the strange village you’re investigating.

We chose to play the game in Spanish and – while we’re sorry for butchering the Spanish language as we did – We had so much fun with it! Honestly, this game alone makes it worthwhile to watch the VOD of our second #AdvXJam2021 stream! 😄

Thank you for your wonderful game, we had a lot of fun with LEAVE when we played it on stream! 😊 It was actually the very first AdvXJam submission we played!

An incredibly beautiful game about leaving. While the game has an average playtime of only a few minutes, there’s still a lot to investigate and to take in. We enjoyed every minute of it, not least because of its beautiful soundtrack.

Hey there, we had a lot of fun with Contact when we played it on stream! 😊 I wrote little recaps for all the AdvXJam submissions and want to add this one here:

Contact is a game about a young woman who is faced with the fate of her family after being contacted by her father and making her way home.

While it seemed like a laid-back pixel adventure game at first, it quickly sent us to the edge of our seats with fast-paced quick-time events. We got stuck on its puzzles for a while but that just meant it felt even more satisfying when we finally got it right and got the ball rolling.🥰

We had a lot of fun with our first Tales From The Outer Zone when playing it during our stream! 😊 I wrote little recaps of all AdvXJam submissions for our blog and want to add this here:

The Construction is one of those games that make you forget that all of these games were developed over just two weeks due to how polished it is. While working on a futuristic structure, the young Constructor has to find a way to mine more of the Zygnoka crystals needed to power machines.

The game features a few very satisfying puzzles, as well as an exposition that quickly transported us into the world of Tales From The Outer Zone – this game is actually part of a whole series! And we can't wait to explore more of it.

Thank you, GuGames, for joining us when we played your game during our stream! 😊
I wrote little recaps of the games for our blog and want to add this one here:

We first played a game by Gugames when we tried the submissions to Adventure Jam earlier this year and we were so happy to see them again as a creator for AdvXJam! This time we took the role of Jack Flabbington who is desperately trying to contact his uncle’s spirit in the afterworld.

Again, we were astonished by the level of quality that Gugames delivered. The Will of Arthur Flabbington has great pixel art, awesome humor (it’s not hard to notice that we had fun with this when watching our VOD), and puzzles that made us think without ever being frustrating.

We had a lot of fun when playing your game on stream! 😊 I wrote little recaps of the games for our blog and want to add one here:

Show off that Telemarketer badge! Emergency Telemarketer Force follows Agent Frank Lee as he tries to find out why more and more people are joining the "Do Not Call" list – what a ridiculous thing! After all, Telemarketers just want to do their contribution to society!

This was such a fun game, and though the option of nine verbs to choose from seemed complicated at first, it quickly became very intuitive to use. We really appreciated that the game encouraged us to use all our items on... well, anyone! And that it always had a witty line in store for us. Our favorite thing? Showing our ETF badge to everyone, of course!

Thank you for joining us when we played your game during our stream! 😊 Wrote a little recap for our blog that I'd like to share here:

Perilous Wilde gave us a wonderful glimpse of a classic point-and-click adventure experience and involved some of our favorite things – dice! Dice and failing! In Perilous Wilde, you'll experience the days leading up to a group of adventurers' attempt of capturing a weapon delivery.

The game offers a semi-linear experience, as you'll have to roll the dice again and again when trying to accomplish certain tasks, be it by talking or unsheathing your sword. Our favorite moment was when we actually failed one of those tasks, as this is something we so rarely get to experience! Also, we watched in awe when we first saw the world map with its various locations.

Hey there!
We tried to play your game for a stream during which we tried all the AdvXJam 2021 games. Sadly, we can't go on after the first contact with the Aliens, as we can talk to neither Sones nor Hardson. Would love to try again if this gets fixed!! :)
