this isn't an issue with this vn, you have to go into your system settings and go to 'privacy' and scroll down until you see a popup about the application and a button to 'open anyway'. happens with every VN on mac the first time i open that install of it

I just thought that Virgil in particular, and the means by which Grey is able to actually meet the other characters felt like it could have done with more explanation previously, while still keeping it as a point of intrigue of course. I think the new opener does that, by giving a little more information to go off of and solidifying what I personally feel like Virgil's role in the story is, where previously I had no clue if he was meant to be an actual antagonistic force, or just using a very powerful motivator on Grey (fear). In the other routes, there isn't as much going on with the surreal elements, aside from Mark's, so having more of those scenes in Hiro's route also made it seem like it was a bigger part of the story overall, as opposed to just like, the plot device by which things are happening. Like the ending scene of this build was cool, albeit confusing.

Ngl I had been losing interest a little bit in terms of how the surreal elements of the story were implemented, but, I loved the new intro and thought it did a way better job of setting up the rest of the story, or at least what I can picture of it at the moment. Although it somewhat concerns me just how much attention is brought to his body in only that first day, I absolutely love Hiro and he's probably my favorite character so far aside from Grey. I like that he is highly intelligent but also doesn't scoff at superstition or personal beliefs.

Such a stellar first build honestly, that animation and complete shift at the start got me SO hyped. I also really like the 'first contact' approach to that kind of plot device because it's a very different take on it imo. Aside from a few things incorrect with dialogue/ui here and there (hardly surprising with how much there was), I really appreciate the level of polish too. Very excited for more

It's explicitly stated that Alex cannot learn more about the Demons without further training or suffering as a result. It would also be weird pacing wise to just already be figuring stuff out about one of the key points of intrigue of the story on build one.

Really enthralling tbh, already read it through twice over to make sure I got everything. The premise, world, and art are all awesome, very much looking forward to the next update.

Byte couldn't scan Loken when Alex was freaking out a little, it would be weird of byte was able to scan it while he was overwhelmed by looking at a Demon. There's no way for Byte to scan it without Alex also looking at it, which he currently cannot do.

This VN kinda surprised me honestly, I don't usually expect much with VNs but the story and characters quickly grew on me. I always appreciate stories that aren't quite so cut and dry 'these people good good and these people bad' so I was quite pleased with how the dissent between pervaders and the watch is handled, especially with Jymsar. I also like the MC a lot, it's nice when characters are intelligent and can effectively communicate their thoughts without being too overbearing, plus who doesn't like a buff cougar. The magic system also feels quite well defined and unique to me, and definitely brings some added intrigue in addition to the characters' current predicament. I think the only qualms I have with it is the writing near the beginning feels a little rough compared to the rest, and some of the sprites are a tad bit less flattering. Definitely looking forward to more though
