Instructions in the readme. Basically run JoyToKey, then set buttons on the gamepad configuration to keys. I open a text file so I can test pressing gamepad buttons to see if it is typing the right key. Should only need to configure once.
In Windows set the EXE to run in 640x480 and the game will run much better.Right Click CF3 Legacy.exe > Properties > Compatibility > Run in 640x480
