Hello again!! Yayyy I'm glad you enjoyed this one too!

I myself am interested in like k-pop and idol culture, there's always a lot of drama that stems from parasocialism. Especially when people go like "idols are human too!" but then turn and contradict themselves when they see something a little TOO human that they don't like. At the same time, I was watching the rise of people being attached to AI chatbots of idols/fictional characters/vtubers and I thought hmmmmm maybe some of you would like AI idols HAHA

I do love the scene with Shiyu haha lowkey it's set up like the typical "emotional" scene in every movie or anime with the slow music and all but I'm a sucker for that XD It does give us some time away from the hustle and bustle to relax and think!

Holy crap I haven't heard of the ChatGPT thing omg!??? THAT'S CRAZY. So dystopian frrrrr. Istg we're gonna see more empathy towards AI than actual humans at some point and that's the terrifying part.

Haha yeah I kinda rushed on producing the music but I didn't realize that I was looping the same thing for like over an hour. There were like 5-ish tracks in total but 4 of them only got like a minute cuz I did not know where else to put them ;A; I have learned my lesson LOL

I'm super interested in philosophy and I love when it's incorporated into games. Also love hearing your thoughts on Victor! He definitely contradicts himself by running a business with all these membership tier models meant to encourage customers to return. Does he actually mean what he said? Maybe he does have a guilty conscience and that's his way of coping, but business is business. There's just so many outside factors that influence people's desire to become more "beautiful" even if Victor decided to be like "nope you guys stop here," his customers might just go to another cosmetic place and it would just be a monetary loss for him. Unless the entire society's perception changes, Victor's just gonna take what's convenient. He's kind of a realistically(?) flawed character LOL.

I absolutely LOVE your analysis on the themes, and you are very spot on about everything! 

It's definitely a very dystopian future where AI has taken over pretty much everything. At the same time, we sympathize with AI-dol because they are so human-like, and so it's like AI not only replacing technical jobs but also human relations. Which is kind of scary!

Also I love that you pointed out the Preservers using the same methods that are usually used on human idols. For an organization that insists AI-dol are machines, even they subconsciously treat AI-dol as humans. Tbh I had the most fun writing AI-dol's personalities so even I'm not immune HAHA
