hey jessemaur! Thanks for trying the game, the souls will only show up when the hero explodes and destroys the skeleton. If you use the arrows to destroy the skeleton you will receive the bones. bones will be able to be spent in the shop after each round to buy upgrades, the souls need to be collected in order to advance levels.

Loved the story you built it upon and had fun playing through it for 10 minutes. Good stuff
