OK this one is really good. The only issues again is the difficulty curve. If you don't get healer, you kind of will lose too quick always. And i dont know if it is just me, but the heal button seems useless. Idk how much i am healing, but except for the early rounds, it doesnt make my health increase at all. Other than that, when you are writing all your tutorial info, controls, and ANYTHING in the game, make sure to have proper spelling and grammar. Not that I am doing it much here, but i'm tired gimme a break lol. It is unprofessional and a turn off to see the tutorial have a bunch of mistakes and always saying "U can do this and U can do that if U want to" other than that, fun game. If there were more to it, and it were polished, you could easily sell this with the current roguelike casino game craze going on. ~Big Black Crocs

OK this one could be pretty fun. The premise is there. the upgrades are cool. the difficulty curve is too harsh though, and it is made even harder by the bad controls. You basically need to always be dashing, so why would you put it on the C key that you cant press while using WASD. put it on shift or right click. if you have no cooldown for the dash, right click is better since you are hitting it a lot. but if you give it a cooldown, shift is perfect too. Also, when you write the controls, make sure to add even the simplest controls such as WASD to move. It may be basic to you, but to others who don't play games, they may not know which buttons are to move, and since you did not list it in the controls, they might never think to try to move and assume you are supposed to stand still the whole time. ~Big Black Crocs
Art style is there. Could work with more contrast. Sounds were pretty decent. Demonic rumbling from the castle should have more fade. it is too loud even when you are far. In general the game doesnt really work. The build menu is in the corner in the bottom an cropped too hard, and trying to go down to click something just pans the camera around. I didnt get to play because of this stuff. It is too rough right now to allow playtests. If it works fine in Godot, make sure to build it and test it first, and test it again when its on itch. becuase of the aforementioned issues. Right now you have a prototype. But i want to play a more polished one where i can actually click and place buildings lol. Hmu on reddit again when you do that. ~Big Black Crocs
I actually really liked this. The art is cool, the idea is cool. The tutorial needs to be worded better. I spent 5 minutes confused about how to weld the big hole because i read it as you need to weld the edges. Not seeing the chunk that you had to place. If you continue this game, i think having to move the stick in as you add material would make it more real and challenging.
I like the randomness of the upgrades too. Adds to the replayability. I played a second time to see if it would be different, and to see how the resource carry over worked. and then i saw the upgrades were random, so i played a 3rd time to see what i could get done. Which was, get a lot of XP gain upgrades.Which led me to find the issue.
i think overall it is a lot of areas that you need knowledge and skills on to improve. You could easily lean into the absurdity of the game but make it feel intentional rather than just the dev being a novice. It's hard to say what to actually improve, since this was a beginner project and made in only 3 days. You have more than my team got, so you did well. Just work on more games and maybe come back to this one if you ever feel like it.
The premise is nice. The difficulty would be nice if there wasn't the wall of water coming. It is already hard enough. The difficulty curve is just not well balanced. There is a stutter at the beginning of every level that made me fail the first jumps multiple times. having to go back to the menu every time was annoying too. Still fun cuz hard

This is really unique and cool, good job. I'd say overall it's pretty one-trick pony. If it was more like sentences or level based, it would add some depth to it. Other than that, the overall amount of settings you can change is really cool and helpful, but too hard to change everything to make the game not hurt my eyes. Regardless, the idea is really cool and somewhat fun.
