The text is black and the button is green, I could see why it could be hard to read. I want it to be green to fit the forest vibe, so maybe a lighter green might help, if not I will experiment with different colors. Thanks for the suggestion

As hinted by the Twitter account (You can follow here), a beach-themed map will be included on launch. This map will have many more animals than before.

New Additions:
The scavenger hunt mode is now finished and has its very own map! Below is an image of the scavenger hunt map
Map adjustments:
The main starting map's layout has been changed for the better. There are now bigger and taller mountains, open fields, and less tree clutter.
New Menus:
I have added two new menus. I added the tutorial menu, which displays the basics of the game. I have also added a Stats menu, which displays the total time played and scavenger hunt high scores. I have also slightly adjusted the previous menus to look more pleasing.
Future:
I will still be continuing this game. I plan on a beta being released this week for people to playtest and give feedback, so stay tuned for that.
New Additions:
This week, I have added the basis for a scavenger hunt mode, where the player tries to find the animals as fast as they can. Every bug that appeared during this process was fixed. For now I need to make the map itself. I also fixed the lighting so it is now more realistic and less bright.
Future Updates:
This upcoming week will not have as much progress as the 2 previous weeks. This is the same reason for the lack of pictures in this dev log.
EDIT: this upcoming week will not have a dev log, but the week after hopefully will
This Dev log will be updated weekly. Each week will include progress to the game. I am open to suggestions, feedback, and ideas in the comments.
About The Game
The game is about finding many different types of plants and animals and learning about them while having fun. It is basically like a virtual scavenger hunt, with close-up experiences with animals, and beautiful graphics. Unreal Engine 4 is being used to make this game.
Core Features:
Define Mechanic:
The main mechanic that makes this game different from the others is the Define mechanic. The purpose of this mechanic is to add the different plants and animals interacted with to a journal. This journal is where facts and information about that animal is displayed.
Movement:
The game uses standard WASD controls with customizable key binds. Controller support will be added to it as well.
Beautiful Visuals:
This game has wonderful visuals and runs well without the optimizations that are needed in the future. Audio will be added in the future.
