It isn't. It's said in the game that the elf population is declining. But there is a minimum of 1 male elf. It also mentions elf flipping, where you take weak (male) elves and make them stronger to then sell them. So canonically, males do exist. 

I'm excited. And glad I decided to check this page twice today.

I don't think it's trash talk. I think it's more the developer acknowledging Harem Hotel's existence in the form of an Easter Egg that fits into dialogue. Obviously from the outside Harem Hotel looks kinda creepy. And any real person who stayed in the Hotel would probably react the same way.

This is great, but after 89 hours of listening to the same song I'm starting to wish there were more than like 4 songs in the game. Here's what I would like to see, separate songs for each time of day. A song for "sexy time", and maybe character theme songs that play when you're in their room. The cinematic approach can make the game look better, but it's responsible for the majority of the filesize. The "engine" (I'm assuming you're talking about whatever software you use to create 3d images) you're using not considering a lack of light makes sense, without light you can't see. The advent of plates in that event you talked about is a big deal, but I feel like putting the pizza on the table could be an interesting way to develop the characters more. It would show that Lin isn't exactly the best maid (at this point in the story) and could show that Ashley is broke (or give the player the impression that she's a cretin) by her not questioning the lack of a plate.
