I really like the hand drawing style for the game assets, they really fits well with the dark/sad theme of the game. Some nitpicking thoughts: maybe the character could move slightly slower, the movement feels a little fast for a kid, and could also fits the sad theme better. A little more instruction on the interaction/wayfinding would be nice too. Overall great game!

Very cute visual and concept! At first I thought it's like the Sims like I have a character to control in a daily life environment. But by the time I realized how I can cheat in the game it really gets me exciting. It will be nice to have more instructions to both the big game and the little games inside the big game.
You have a really cool approach of combining AI/chatGPT and the idea of talking to the clones of yourself. I especially love your concept of devide each level by different "parts/sides" of you on different platforms as they are now important parts of our daily life, but feel like there could be more hint indicating about the apps cuz otherwise I would not know without your explaination.
I like the ending where I gradually piece together the happy ending scene. The maze level feels a bit long but I appreciate the maze disappear after I collected enough puzzles so I don't have to go back and find the way out. The characters sometimes feel like they are stuck on the maze wall. And the collectables (puzzle pieces) linked to the 3rd level gameplay. Small bug: on level one the character could fall into the void.
Very cute game! Simple and fun game play. Love how you built a game for midterm about defeating midterm. A little bug: if both character never recover from the coffee, the little witch character win while it should be a draw. It might be nice if the brain bullets are slightly different for different characters.
I like how the story starts, in a mystery forest and slowly see more about the story. The text goes a bit fast and I didn't have time to read all of the text.
The control is not very consistent between levels, I can jump in the first level but cannot in the second.
The map is cool but not very helpful because it's not really displaying a lot of information. Might be helpful if I can see more of the surrounding, eg. zoom out a bit, or add more objects on the map, or a guiding line/road etc.
Hi! I'm having issue with downloading this game from the itch app on mac. I'll write my comment based on what I recalled seeing the presentation/playtest in class.
Great job on the city environment! And as someone living in NYC and saw rats countless times in the subway, playing as a rat running underground feel so realistic. It's interesting how you combine 3 different game plays into one global theme.
I remember the controlling of the rat was moving very fast(which make sense!) and jump very high (personally feels a bit too much) that it almost feel like we are controlling a super rat.
I like the cute and calming aesthetic + music. The goal of the game is also cute and simple.
However it's very hard to control (might be because I'm using a trackpad not a mouse?). I can move with arrow keys but sometime will stuck in a direction and go infinitely even without me pressing any key. Hard to grab and serve egg, and even harder to aim the egg to the plate. But I can stack up eggs in the frying pan into an egg tower!
