Hello! We (Nicola and Luca) would like to announce the release of Dark Reality, our first game as indie developers. This is an early demo created to prove the concept with a wider audience. It's still rough, but we put a lot of work into it and would love to hear your opinion and constructive criticism. Play the game following the link below.

Dark Reality is a psychological horror dungeon crawler (a MINDCRAWLER) where you take the role of Faceless the Executioner. A knight of the realm, you are actually an insecure incel suffering from impostor syndrome. Despite being feared by the commoners, you are a misfit in your own world: weak while the other knights are strong; insecure while they are ruthless; submissive while they are ambitious. You live as a recluse, hoping to be left alone.

You are dragged back into adventure when Princess Medusa, the only woman you ever loved but who rejected you, is abducted by a vile bandit. You are sent to save her, but will you be able to look her in the eyes when you find her?

Explore a world of twisted cavalry as a failed knight on an impossible quest against the ultimate enemy: your own mind.
