Using public domain music violates the Jam rules.

I really really loved this game, it's a fun puzzle game, I really enjoy spatial reasoning puzzles.

My only personal critique is that it seemed a lot of the levels were designed in a way that the solution seemed obvious as soon as I saw it, a lot of the 'wrong solutions' seemed placed there on purpose to look 'wrong'. The level this stands out in is the level that has two boxes blocking the way right at the start, with a channel at the top of the level where two boxes would fit. It was pretty obvious the boxes didn't go in there because you'd not have been able to turn around after pushing them in there, so these channels seemed superfluous.

I loved the music and the animations are perfect for the simplicity of the sprites, you're tutorial levels teaching new mechanics were also very very welcome and showed me how certain objects would interact with each other without the risk of me getting it wrong or misunderstanding how those objects worked.

I had sort of toiled with this issue myself about the jumping but opted for the game to look like this purposefully to feel more like a retro game, the reasoning is similar with the shooting mechanic, I could have done but didn't want to lose the GB soul since this was the whole point of the Jam :)

This game is so cute!

Not a bad concept but I think it may be bugged? There was no way to move left or right without first jumping and holding left or right.

The tile screen is fantastic.

Hey, just a quick question on the topic of the 4 Colour Rule:

The unity splash screen is more than 4 colours and I can not remove it as I'm using the personal edition, will this break the rules? It would be impossible for me to submit if that was the case :(

Hi, I'll point you to this link, where the rules are; https://itch.io/jam/advjam2023/topic/2879403/community-rules-read-first

I'm not sure if it's against the rules, I just suggested it might be if it contains NSFW content.

Probably shouldn't be putting nudity in the game.
