https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/17487870.2023.2238107 this paper discusses the effects of revenue-neutral tax swaps on growth; the highest growth comes from shifts from income taxes to consumption taxes, so in the game, in addition to effecting who is hit hardest by taxes, that should boost the overall economy.

Absolutely, I personally think an expansion focusing on the liberal parties (DDP and DVP) could be very interesting

The center-right can call a vote of no-confidence due to the implementation of the compromise unemployment insurance plan that they agreed upon. This seems unrealistic, and also not very balanced from a gameplay standpoint, as the benefit for compromising instead of ending the coalition should be that the coalition survives.

Bug (I think): the reformist economic plan actually decreases inflation. It would increase inflation much less than the other plans, but it's still fundamentally a stimulus and certainly wouldn't make it actively go down.

Bug: on Hard Mode, Wels' "reduce dissent" function actually increases dissent!

Yes, I think the liberal parties (DDP and DVP) would have the most potential, in that area. Perhaps there could be some mechanic for the formation of a broad liberal party.

I mean, economically speaking nationalizations would absolutely never be effective and would only ever be harmful. Sometimes, life isn't balanced.

On the Labor card, you left up "// TODO: separate labor affairs and labor policy into two cards - implement Economic Democracy".

This is really, really good. In fact I'd say it's one of the best text-based games on here I've ever played, if not the best. I can't wait to see where this goes!

A hilarious and creative game, though very short and mostly relying on trial-and-error.

Stop promoting NIMBYism. Remember, green belts cause housing crises! People before plants!

This game is kind of broken. The dice glitches a lot. Creative idea.

The artstyle is great. The mechanics are good. A points system could be nice, and the game does feel kind of chaotic. Overall, very good game.

This game's artstyle is amazing!

I have never played craps before, so I don't know how accurate this is.

I was so confused until I realized this was supposed to be for 2 players lol

I absolutely love this one! I would describe it as a mix between SimCity and Tetris, in the best way possible. Hats off to the devs; I played the whole thing, and so far it's the best game I've encountered in the jam.  The UI is honestly fine --- things don't need to be that polished in a game jam. Basically my only problem was how it's not very easy to swap things between slots, which becomes a problem when some slots are more likely than others, but that's very minor. Great job!

Really great idea --- you guys took the theme and turned it on its head, which I really admire. The music is also really cool. I think where this game runs into issue is the mechanics: it's hard to get a clear feel for where the dice is going to end up, and the way the cannon controls is unintuitive. Maybe if a bit of precision was sacrificed for a more streamlined control scheme, it would have been much better. The UI is a bit of a mess, but you DID only have two days, so I won't hold that against you. Either way, the idea and aesthetic make this a positive experience overall.

312, this game is going to give me Carpal Tunnel so I'm going to stop here
