Thanks a lot, very happy to hear you enjoyed them! :)

Looping tracks are definitely a possibility. (By the way, were you interested in looping versions of any of these same tracks from this pack?)

Either way, next time I make more albums like this, I'll try making seamless looping .ogg variations of most or all the tracks, as well as versions with a fixed ending.

Thanks a ton! I'm happy to hear you liked this one. :)

Please excuse the late response: That's an interesting request! You want to work with raw MIDI files instead of audio files in your game?  I don't like to have to decline a polite request like this, but unfortunately converting these into decent sounding .mid files would be a pretty big challenge, since there's a lot in these 3 chiptune packs that is not translatable into MIDI (either at all, or else not in a way that'd sound anything like the original patches, even if the notes were technically the same). I could explain why if you wanted to know, but otherwise won't risk boring you with more unwanted technical info. :)

If you happened to want MIDI files enough to turn it into a commission job, it would probably actually be easier for me to make a new pack of MIDI files from scratch that were intentionally composed to conform to general MIDI instruments from the start...

Excellent suggestions, I'll try to get some more music packs out with my takes on all of those themes as early as I can in 2024.

Great, glad they might be useful for your game, which sounds great from what you described so far!

I'll make a note to reply again later after I've released more packs that might work for the temple, camp, shops, taverns type themes you mentioned.  (And feel free to let me know if you think of any other types of themes you might be interested in.)

Awesome, thanks for telling me what other tracks you'd like for your game!  I am about to release a 2nd Dark Medieval DOS retro chiptune pack similar to this (art and most tracks are already done) and can take a shot at also creating those specific track types you listed.

But I'm also a Conan fanatic and already made a silly yet-to-be-released game called "Barbarian Master," and produced about 17 tracks across 2 Bandcamp chiptune releases that were directly Conan/Barbarian inspired. :)

Right now those tracks are just on Bandcamp and not Itch yet, but I am going to post all tracks from both Barbarian releases as another chiptune pack on Itch.io soon too (with the same kind of non-exclusive license as the first pack).

If you want to preview those directly-Conan inspired tracks that aren't on Itch yet (in case they worked for your sword-and-sandal genre game once I do upload them as an Itch music pack), here is the link:

Hey, congratulations! :)

Darkness Over Hemwick 1 and 2 were both a lot of fun, and your dungeon synth is awesome.

I look forward to trying out the rest of your retro games sometime too. Have a great year!

Cool, we will be out with more stuff in a similar style soon, but feel free to let me know if you have any particular themes in mind that you might want, or any favorite retro chiptune soundtracks (just in case I could come up with something similar). :)

Thanks a lot!

Thanks! More packs like this will be out later this year.
