I'm very grateful for your reply, but for this mod the files look a little bit different than for New Horizons. No mention of OPEN_SEA_MOD  in there.

Also, I would like to point out that the specific problem I am asking about was already fixed in a previous update, and has now crept back in. It should thus not be hard to fix again.

I appreciate your answer, but it is not the case that New Horizons is basically the same game with improvements.
To give one example, many of the new towns look awful in my opinion. They look completely out of place both historically
and culturally.

I bought your product a few months ago in order to play POTC / Buccaneers of the Caribe.
The game is unplayable due to a fundamental issue with the world map not being connected to islands.
I have posted about this a number of times, the first time being 97 days ago at this point.
Several other, more recent forum questions have been answered in the meanwhile, so I kindly ask you to please take a look
at this. Others have told me to simply play the mods instead, but I am not a fan of them and I specifically
bought this to be able to replay a game that I really liked as a kid.

Like some other people on here in the past, I have an issue sailing to islands.

No matter how close I sail to it, it's just open sea, there's never a docking symbol.

Could you please help me with this? I'd love to play this game again, it's a childhood favorite.

Hi, I just downloaded the mod and I still cannot dock on any island in spite of the update mentioned here. I just downloaded the only mod file on the page, is this an update that I can download separately or what do I do? Thank you for your time!
