personally I think both of you are wrong because both PT, RE/SH series manage to hit a huge mark for horror games in general there's no reason to compare RE and SH because besides being survival horror games they both are different personally I prefer SH over RE because SH focuses on truly disturbing and psychologically scaring the player while although RE is scary it just has more action than horror but overall all SH and RE both made a good part of horror video games and PT is a game that managed to actually remake the unnerving style perfectly that almost every aspect of horror that SH 1-4 created too bad the game got canceled and Konami are just gonna use it for money and at capcom have done a great job at making RE 7 and the remakes of 2-3
