After close consideration, we have closed and removed the Public’s Choice Category from the jam, there is too much faul play on itch.io for this category that we as jam cannot comprehend or and manage the scope of. We cannot review or investigate all the games to make sure they are not cheating. We wanna keep the jam fair therefor this decision has been made.
We understand that this is frustrating, but we preferrably remove the category than to give a potential cheating game a reward that cheated his way in the system with bots or other weird things.
