Just what we were aiming for, thank you!

Pressing Alt + Enter in any fullscreen application is forces it into windowed mode.

I know you might no longer be interested in playing Ratribution, but I thought you might still find this information useful :)

Just tried it out and must say, amazing atmosphere. You guys have managed to make something really cozy. Sadly, the rat is still standing by the door after the cat ran by it, so I couldn’t get out (atleast that’s when I assume the rat is supposed to move, if not, please let me know!).

I understand you all have other projects in school right now that takes priority, and you might not feel like you have the time to work further on this game. If it’s cool with you guys, I would love to swing by your classroom someday to test out the other parts of the game :)

Best regards, Viktor, a student in the year above you

Thanks Bee! I’m really happy that you played it!

I agree, the artist did a really great job. Here is some other games they have worked on, and here is their cool ArtStation!

Great job! The grappling hooks was even more fun since I last tried it. Keep up the good work in your coming projects! :)

This game is super fun! I got through the entire first run and died in a 1hp standoff with the final boss, only to realize I had completely forgotten about the dodge! I somehow picked a path with no lava after the first level, haha! Went back again for another 2 runs.

Great job on your first big project! Looking forward to see more from you guys in the future!

Thank you!

An action arcade game about beans collecting beans. Currently in development

I need more

I'm glad you did! :D

Great music, sound effects, camera movement. Controls were a little wonky though which made it hard to get up the platforms on one of the puzzles. I actually beat the puzzle, fell down and then accidentally reset it trying to get up to the item haha.

Graphics looks great and love that the character just slides along sometimes. Not sure if this is just a bugged animation but stuff like that could probably be tied to music and look very cool.

I like the graphics and the wonky controls reminded me of some of the old RC cars. The idea really fits the theme but I never understood where the signal was coming from, what to do if it got weaker etc.

Never figured out the red circle either, but I beat the game!

Thank you for trying our game! :D

Hi there! Just want to say I really appreciate the feedback, due to some issues during development we could not get a lot of playtesting from an outside perspective so this is super useful!

I went ahead and subscribed to your channel, thanks for helping getting us out there :)

Thank you! For all of us involved in making Velocimom, this was our first ever released game. It was an insane milestone for us to hit and we will be making more things in the near future, with 3D projects coming up.

We are making this as part of our education at our university YRGO where we study to become game developers (as either a game programmer or a game artist).

We will be making more games in the future, so stay tuned and check out other projects from our university in the meantime :) https://yrgo-game-creator.itch.io/ I have some really talented peers who are making amazing stuff there.

Hey there Sawyer!

One of the programmers here, first of all thank you so much for trying out our game, and even making a video about it (Great video btw).

The search function is a bit tricky, as it uses the arrow keys instead of WASD. We unfortunately did not have time to properly communicate this, as time before release is usually very busy. I'm not sure what the plans are for the near future of Velocimom as we are heading onto new projects, courses and gamejams at YRGO (Our university), but if we do release an update this will definitely be in it.

I'll write it again here at the bottom so more might see it, but:

The search function on the Sofa and the Fridge uses the Arrow keys, when you're above an item you add it to your inventory by pressing the E key.

You can exit the Sofa and the Fridge by pressing ESC (Escape key).

Thank you so much again for playing our game! :)
